im wondering if the player will display song title in different languages when the player is set in different language modes?
i have a Mini player.. and it wont display songs in chiense nor korean when player is set to english..but chinese is back when i set the player to chinese..
i know M8 is dev on the Win CE.. so its different..but just asking
I think it will, I'll give it a try later. English UI had problems displaying chinese app names on the desktop but it was fixed in the latest official firmware so... :)

The sound quality in my opinion is very good and very loud and as it is shown it is at the medium level of volume. I have seen many videos of mobile phones on youtube and I can tell when a sound quality is good or not. Anyway it is definately way better of the iphone!
what's wrong with progress bar during first 3 songs? seems mislocated and not moving! btw, the sound is horrible, either the phone is a horrible player or the camcorder has a shitty mic
what do you mean? i think you are confusing the volume bar with the progress bar. those two will appear on the same place of the screen and you can switch between them. look closely, you can see the little speaker on the left side.
Alright, I apologize for confusing volume bar with progress bar. However the fact is, right at 1:55 in this video, that hand was sliding on the screen, and that bar jumped into middle for no reason. Even though they integrate progress bar with volume bar, the volume bar shouldnt be active without pressing side buttons. Also I don't like the sound quality from this video, dosen't mean I don't like the sound from M8
You're right. I should point out that this is a test unit based on an early hardware with an early firmware and not the final version. The final version will have hardware improvements.
Actually the bar doesn't jump at all. What you are seeing is that originally when opening the file it displays the progress bar (starts at the beginning 0:00 and starts ticking up) and then it swaps to the audio bar quickly for audio level adjustments. You'll notice when it shifts the symbols change as well.
Be realistic. You're trying to judge the audio quality of the built in speaker of a handheld device from a video on youtube, which isn't exactly known for its stellar audio quality.

Edited an id3 tag on the phone, and put some chinese characters in it, and it displays perfectly.

The sound quality in my opinion is very good and very loud and as it is shown it is at the medium level of volume. I have seen many videos of mobile phones on youtube and I can tell when a sound quality is good or not. Anyway it is definately way better of the iphone!
