Hey this year what I am going to do is get the paper and wet it spray paint the image with a light yellow color so it doesn't so realy dark if I get it anywhere else on it and then carve the image out of it and ewe won't have to take the time of drawing it

you dont have to cut them out you tape it to your pumkin and then use the pokiing thing around the outline then cut it

I don't want to be mean, but you really should have read the directions on the pumpkin carving kit because you made this a bagillion times harder on yourself by cutting up the paper with the pattern on it before you taped it to the pumpkin. Mens hate reading directions so I'll give you that

Yeah that is indeed listed in the instructions. I guess I could of gone about it that way but the way I did it seemed to work just fine. It doesn't take too long to cut out the basic design and then draw it onto the pumpkin.

Men don't need instuctions since they know more about tools then women so I'll give you that. There is more then one way to skin a cat afterall.

true true, but women read instructions so that way we know the easty way the first time.

I've used these kits before and I know the instructions are to tape the pattern onto apumpkin and use the small hole punch tool to put tiny dots along thelines and then when you take the paper off the pumpkin you are left with a bunch of dots to play connect the dots with it's so much easier. anyway this woman works wit a food grad bandsaw everyday so i know how to use tools too :P

ummm, dont cut the face out of the paper, just poke holes in the pumpkin to make the face, and its alot easier

I don't cut it out of the paper. I put it onto the pumpkin and then draw the image from the paper onto the pumpkin. After that I remove the paper and cut the pumpkin.

Your meant to stick the bits that you cut out onto the pumpkin and cut around them so that you dont have to do any drawing. not throw the bits that you cut out and put the paper onto the pumking try it and show us a video it will save you time and drawing as you just cut around the bits stuck on the pumkin ITS BLOODY SIMPLE

i saw a pumpkin last year and it was amazing it was a witch on a broomstick and a moon etc and it was so good it inspired me to make a pumpkin this year but i never done it so thx for putting this vid on youtube
