  • This car is MUCH better looking than the ugly fit

  • SX 4 1.6 VVTi 4 A/T front fog lamp FWD ; 1,560L/100km in city,1,700L/100km on highway

  • SX4 1.6L VVTi 4 A/T with rear fog lamp,front fog lamp ; 13L/100km in city,9L/100km on highway

    SX4 1.9L TDI 4 A/T with rear fog lamp,front fog lamp ; 16L/100km in city,12L/100km on highway

  • I will give you all a review on its safety in a crash. It works excellent even against a BMW and wall. That happened just yesterday. 2 adults and 2 kids escaped unhurt. Even the groceries were okay. Unfortunatly the car was totaled.

    Thanks Japan from Britain.

  • Waver? What is Waver? LOL

  • the 2006-present Suzuki SX4/ Changan-Suzuki SX4/ Maruti Suzuki SX4/

Suzuki Liana (Queensland, Australia)/ Suzuki Neo Baleno (Indonesia) is assembled in

    Esztergom, Hungary

    Kosai, Shizuoka, Japan

    Manesar, India

    Bekasi, Indonesia

    St. Petersburg, Russia

  • S sex 4

  • so what else is wrong with this car?

  • I don't see the value in 15 grand. I mean, it is a good car, don't get me wrong. We bought a new Forester for 18 grand, which in the grander scheme is not much more. We are also achieving over 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg in town with more power too boot and more equipment. If you negotiate (much like we did with the Forester) a new Subaru Impreza in base form should not top 16 grand. Much better value.

  • My Mom Has One Of These But Hers Is A Fiat That She Got From An Import Center! Its The Same Car, I Guess They're Sharing Bodies?

  • i wish Suzuki would bring something like an updated Sidekick or Tracker out--a small version of a Jeep Wrangler with soft top. The Tracker/Sidekick was unbeatable as a cheap, durable SUV.

  • What is it? a Nissan? I was looking at the chick all this time.

  • MotorWeek is the best

  • This car kicks ass! I have loved every mile driven.

  • I have a nissan versa and I would NEVER buy a honda fit instead of a suzuki sx4! sx4 or a subaru impreza will be my next car!

  • I purchased a new 2010 Suzuki SX 4 in spring of 2010. It has only been driven the city in temperate non-winter conditions. No ice, snow, or gravel on the road. Much of the front end is pitted with paint chips. They are everywhere, right down to the primer. I take my car in for regular service intervals and keep it clean. The finish is rapidly disintegrating. I spoke with Suzuki corporate and they recommend I take it into the dealership. I will do this and keep you all posted.

  • @onbradley

I've heard the same thing. That's what's keeping me from buying one right now.

  • KBB when are you going to do a video review of the 2010 SX4 Crossover? For 2010 the SX4 has a new engine, new transmition, more hp, better mpg's, and updated cabin tech.

There are enough changes to the 2010 model to make it worth doing a new video review!

  • i like it,it looks a fiat 16

  • I buy this car ad January 2008 in that same color, it is a really good car... I havent problems with it in this 2 years.

  • I love ours.

  • @lancaster4314 how many miles

  • I love this car now because of this.....

    youtube. com/ watch?v=q7ZzqBPz4sY

if you can gear the Sx4 like this.... fuck yea!!

  • just put the link below together (i had to separate it)) and tell me this Suzuki doesn't have a TON of potential

  • I think the SX-4 can take that punishment and more.....BTW, that was a nice video!!

  • if it can become that, i will buy a SX-4 with a smile on my face!

  • I own a SX4 and it is a great car. Its quick enough and the sedan w/sport package comes with Navigation and 17" Alloys all for under 15K for the money there isnt alot of cars better. I would reccomend this car to anyone on a buget

  • Who knew Suzuki was still alive

  • Do not be fooled--This may be a cheap car --But it is very thirsty and isn't good on gas especially in town or city driving.Looks good enough .I had a test drive and there are serious blind spots for the driver.

  • yup, the front A-Pillars REALLY hinders visibility, especially at night while turning, I'm always worry I'm going to hit a pedestrian crossing. BUT apparently, this A-Pillar ADDS tremendous rigidity to the frame. It makes it an VERY good and capable WRC car, and the weight distribution too is 50% rear-front, where normal cars are more like 60% front.

  • I actually like the exterior and interior styling of the SX4 hatchback given the affordable price. But this car is underpowered during my test drive. This is the only reason I would pass on the SX4.

  • The SX4 is awesome in the worst snow and ice. Makes it disappear. Great car for Colorado, where I live. I just bought one before our first big ice storm and it drove circles around 2WD cars. Handles like a go cart and loves to rev! I've had Hondas to Hyundais and this SX4 is quality. Luv it!

  • the Fit doesn't have a timing chain, nor a DOHC engine, nor rear disc brakes, OR everyone would like a Fit.

  • But It's slower, more girly, and does not offer AWD. There are pro's and con's for each.

  • MMmm better engine???? Ur wrong. I love honda too because of its security and everything but honestly the honda fit looks like a toy, no engine, space???? it has no space, max 4 people.

  • You're right about the engine. The Honda Fit is underpowered.

Looks... It's a 'hate it or love it'.

    No Space? WTF?? O_o

I own one and it has 57 CUBIC FT of cargo space with the rear seats folded flat.

That's even more space than most compact/midsize SUVs!!

  • i have a sx4 but used to have a fit, i stuffed 7 adults in it LoL, but took 5 full adults in a 300 mile trip.... nothing that the sx4 can do better

  • ageed

  • As far as the "Joint Venture" between Suzuki and Fiat.... the ONLY thing Fiat had to do with the car is fitting a Fiat diesel engine in it, for sale as a Sedici. Other than that, Fiat had nothing to do with the design or engineering of the SX4.

  • only thing that bothers me bout this car is the side front windows. they extend past the rear view mirrors, making it look funny. but thats just me.

americas least expensive AWD car :D

  • Please, do not compare an OVERPRICED cheap sedan car like a Yaris with an Off Road Legend like Suzuki.....This car might not be able to do the same as the Grand Vitara, but the off road capability is unique for a car of this segment and price range.

  • TOYO VS SUZ

  • I had this car as a rental, definately a surprise hit. I don't even like small cars, but I have to appreciate this car for what it is. Great peppy engine and strong brakes with a nice interior. I'd easily pick this over the current Lancer that I've driven also.

  • its vry cheap made.-,-....i would buy for this prize a volkswagen tiguan

  • why would you do that? The tiguan has a horrible repair record, most unreliable vehicle, at the bottom of the list when it comes to reliability. Go ahead get a Tiguan, you will regret it LOL

  • isn't this the same as some fiat car?

  • Yes, Fiat Sedici.

  • thought so

  • no it wasent by chevy its the same as a chevy aveo but just better

  • Or.

    Found

    It

    On a

    Tip

    (I have a Panda 4x4 myself - fantastic car)

  • but the sx4 is made by suzuki in japan and has all suzuki parts

  • not true all of the parts are suzuki parts

  • from what i have seen all of the parts in the suzuki sx4 are from suzuki

  • i did not mean it like that i meant that they use none of the parts from the fiat counter part its there own brand

  • Nope: You mean the Suzuki Swift+ not the Suzuki Swift. The Suzuki Swift+ is sold in Canada, and that is not a Suzuki at all, that is a Daewoo, as also the Aveo is a Daewoo.

The REAL Suzuki Swift has nothing to do with Aveo, it is ALL Suzuki designed engineered and built.

The Suzuki SX4 is based off of the Suzuki Swift Global Platform. SX4 is a "stretched swift".

The Fiat Sedici is merely a rebadged SX4, even the Sedici is built by Suzuki in the Suzuki factory in Hungary.

  • Wrong again, the Swift chassis DOES have enough room for the AWD system, you can even purchase a Suzuki Swift in Japan with the AWD. And Suzuki itself doesn't consider the SX4 to be a new chassis, in their print literature they DO say it's the stretched global swift platform.

  • Is it the lowest priced AWD (car, truck, suv crossover, any vehicle ECT) sold in America? What would be the next expensive AWD? THE SX4 has a 2 speed transfer case? How it compare to other AWD. Is it full time or part time AWD? Why doesnt the sedan have AWD? What I like is an awd with manual transmission! What is the difference between AWD and 4wheel drive?

  • probably the pontiac vibe AWD

  • the AWD in the sx4 is "intelligent" awd so it only kicks in when the computer feels like it should, the 4WD is in lock mode so its always in 4 wheel and the rear wheel drive probably gets a little bit more torque

  • what the hell with u??

  • You can get this with Nav now.

Nav is standard, it is a smaller screen then most cars have.
