It's cool you like 'Worlds...' so much, but we'd never try and replicate a record as a) we've already made that record, b) fans would just say it wasn't as good as 'worlds...' so there'd be no point.

If you mean will we do something a bit more experimental then wait and see ;)

@MithrasUk as an aspiring professional musician (guitar,bass,drums), I am curious as to how you guys have attained such degrees of proficiency at their instruments, and what you would recommend me do for practice and learning? Specifically for attaining the more advanced degrees of guitar, like sweep picking.

Hi there Ridah223. I play drums and guitar in Mithras and there's no secret to attaining our level of ability (which imo is pretty limited). All I did was practice drums 2-3 evenings a week for up to 6 hours at a time and apply a reasonable amount of intelligence to get where I wanted quickly.

On the guitar, I played and practiced a lot in the early years, but after 'Legions...' I stopped playing so much, I don't really need to play much to stay at the level I'm at and prefer to concentrate on musical ideas rather than try to catch up with Paul Gilbert :D

There's plenty of guitar exercises out there, but I just played what sounded cool and worked at it in seclusion really.

Just by practicing a lot and doing alternate strokes with each foot. Simple exercises like alternating between right hand and left foot, and left hand and right foot, and all variations. I also rehearsed for hours and hours each week for years and years.
