  • You're right man, if you want to get big you have to eat, powders can pump you up quick, but... we all know how it ends. I'm 108 kg/ 238 lbs, with 190 cm/ 6,2 ft tall and fair % of body fat (come on, I'm married, working, kids etc) and to keep it good and strong: GOT TO EAT!

  • @hitman7777777777 No, when you put the lid on it cooks the whole thing. Since it's on low it doesnt burn the bottom either.

  • Hey man, you got to wash that rice a few times before you cook it, making sure the water isn't milky white, but clear. Then you measure the water to rice by inserting your hand into the rice. The water shouldn't rise above the back of the hand. Then you cook it on medium low

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the cooking tips. I know it's not like top chef things, but personally I find this still pretty damn good. I made my first "daily" meals today using this tutorial and it works out well. Chicken came out very tender. Much cheaper than eating out too.

  • @paintedglyphs333 cuz you needa know how much protein you are takin in. when u buy the chicken, look at the nutrition facts and most of em wil say 3oz per serving and has 23g of proteins. so 1oz =7.66g protein. if you weight 200lbs, you'll need 150-200g protein per day, divide it by the number of meals you eat and you'll get the protein needed per meal.

  • spray really? what about good old extra virgin olive oil?

  • @FishZShark You should refer to my blog on diet.. I don't think you have an understanding of basic nutrition. No you cannot gain muscle from eating junk. Protein builds muscles. Subway/ rice/ and junk food has no significant sources of proteins.

  • @jdotj4 Read the basic guide on my blog. I think you need to understand the difference between a protein and a fat for you to determine what to do.

  • @TheCrzyCody yes of course! but for beginners that have a hard time gaining weight; protein shakes helps with appetite and building muscle. Its up to you.. if somethings not working then try another method. I've laid out some generic tips that will work well for most.

  • I'm 5'9", 163 lbs. in my everyday meal rice is always there, from breakfast to dinner, my diet is mainly compose of rice, chicken, beef, fish, and more rice.. my recent body fat % is roughly around 13.4% is this good enough to start bulking up? I eat really big cause i know that i can burn'em all while i go workout cause i know for myself that i lift heavy and intense, is this good?? or should i do more cardio??

  • hey hanh. So i took all of your advice and been getting great results. What I did wrong was i had a high body fat percentage when i started. Now I'm cutting and trying to get lean with limiting my carbohydrate intake which has gotten me moody and feeling weak. Is this natural? And how much protien should one be taking if to retain muscle. -thanks and you have been a great inspiration to us all

  • @JfLoC try 1.5 grams per lb of body weight and increase it from there. If you gradually lower your carbs you'll be okay. If you drop it all of the sudden you're not going to feel too good. Glad to hear you're making good results.
