Man I played a guy that had the same physique as Andy Murray and I tell you this... My opponent could do a kick serve that was like 6 ft or higher lol and I am only 5 feet and 5 inces
I am having problem with generating spin on my serve, I play for my college. I started to have this problem when I had to change the form of my serve because I was having back problems with my original form.
So I basically just copied murray's form, So I am having trouble generating the spin and hitting a kick serve, Most of my serves are flat. ANY HELP, would be appreciated
Hi, Don't change your grip between first and second serves. If you want more spin on your second serve just throw the ball further back behind your head which will make it easier to brush up the back of the ball, giving it topspin. Ball toss placement is the key. And stay as loose as possible in the wrist and hand. Good luck. Kick serve is the ultimate shot in tennis and hardest to perfect.
part of training consistent serve..develop smooth serve and try not to tap the ball when you're practising..keep adjusting your serve until you can serve in the service box very well
hey fyb. u shud film directly on the left or right side of the server if u had the chance because the contact point, the swing, everything could be seen clearly from there. and ur videos on serving from the back perspectives are great videos too. anyway thx for sharing all these videos with us
