Rode and drove quite a few miles in the Dodge M880 as a Marine in California, Japan and Korea during the early 80's. It rode rough, and if it started, it would go anywhere you pointed it. Nice restoration job.
Awsome resto on it! There's an M880 sitting in a junkyard a few miles from my house... I'm so tempted to get it... The floors are bad and the bottoms of the fenders are rusty but the rest is surprisingly clean... If only I had fewer projects
when i was stationed with the 7th div at FT ORD.calif i had one of them also when i went to korea i again had one for me it was a good truck. wish i had one now.
Nice truck Im looking into getting a 1979, I found one for $2500 with all drivetrain already rebuilt around 20,000 miles ago. I hope it will last as a daily driver for years to come, I love these trucks.

i got my truck rolled.. 400 buks.and have given it a $5000 tune up.lol...motor,gears.and brakes..plus uber DANA. she loves the ruff roads. good job.

Yea, I agree. when it comes time to change out the motor it will be replaced with a 360 4 bbl.

That came out awesome, gotta love the dog 318 with the 2bbl, slow as hell, but those trucks will go anywhere.

Saturn Surplus, Craigs Lists, e-bay, and a lot of parts can still be found in local junk yards...
