yeah well the music is live.... the vocals are not.... back then they sang playback 99% of the time (due to yulias vocal cyst).. after they broke up with their producer (who was a creepy weird guy) they sang live 100%.( except on tv shows) so if you wann hear them live search tatu live (anything thats from 2005 onward is live)...

I remember reading somewhere that Ivan forced Yulia to sing at a higher register than her voice could contain, and it damanged her vocals, so she had to lip sync because it was destroying her voice, otherwise.

Sometimes when they sing here, you can hear around like 2:30 that Yulia's voice is rougher than the original track. In order for her to continue recording, they both just agreed to sing to the back-tracks. Besides, Ivan wanted them to be more about visual theatrics than vocals.

It's used in official music videos, ya know, the ones that usually have some sort of story lines and cool scenes and what not, and the ones that usually sound exactly like the album version because it is the album version. This on the other hand is a studio session, where the singers should actually be singing, and they obviously aren't

@defmark08 I feel the same way, but they were allowed to lip synch cuz Yulia/Julia (dark hair) had a nasty vocal cyst at the time. It was sorta destroying her voice so they had to lip synch and use auto-tune a lot.

@darbidoll99 No, MissSnake is right. The electronic bits and the normal voice sections are sung through the same microphone. That requires faster-than-lightning fingers on the mixer.

Plus the fact it's tone-for-tone exactly the same as the album version, and when Yulia almost sang Lena's part, as BestAvril mentioned.
