Dead man = no threat to anyone. Lawful execution = self defense. @redmunkee when you shoot at the cops, the "due process" is that they shoot back. A good rule of thumb is that if you don't want cops to kill you, don't shoot at them.

Reading some of the comments on here make me sad to live in this country with people so ignorant. The guy killed a pregnant woman and her child and then shot at the cops and you think the his death was unjustified? What if he had randomly shot at a law abiding citizen who happened to be carrying as well and they killed him instead of the cops? I bet you would find it justified then, but because a cop did it it's unjustified and therefore murder.

@redmunkee, He shot at the cops first, at that point deadly force is authorized. By those actions he never allowed due process to take course. How do apprehend a man that has already showed intent to kill you?

@EWarwick the problem is the government and the for profit prison system that the government funds that gives no incentive for rehabilitation that makes recidivism rates what they are the whole system go to shit. it's a known fact that we'd save millions of dollars if we invested in poor communities via community programs and better schools (preventing crime) and create meaningful rehabilitation programs instead of funding for profit prisons that do nothing but make the system worse.

@xuseyourheadx I think I see what you're saying, but it's a little hard to help the poor areas with cities like Philadelphia trying to drive out the Boy Scouts. Even then, though, many people still need prison and some will ALWAYS need executing. Some people just shouldn't be on the streets.
