  • I don't think that the tempo is the biggest issue with this interpretation. Lets just say that for me it works...

The biggest problem is the problem of balance. All the players in the accompanying orchestra are playing TOO LOUD!!! It sounds as if they are all crashing into each other. This orchestra really needs to learn how to controll its individial dynamics and stay UNDER the soloist dynamic wise...

  • Really really TOO FAST! At least to fast to really express anything... >_<

    nevertheless, very good playing though(:

  • with all due respect.......WHY SO FAST ?

  • super fast !!!!

  • Too fast!

  • ] Good technique, but this lacks pure soul.

  • Simply the best Vitale Chaconne I have ever heard. Laszlo plays with such fire and emotion. His phrasing is impeccible. I am fortunate to live in S. Florida where he frequently performs.

  • too fast because it is American Airlines !!!!!

  • too fast because it is Amarican Airlines !!!!!

  • Fast is good and very good!!

But there is a little bit too hurry on the highest G and the next D at the ending.

  • why would they play it so fast!@!@!@!@! *angry face*

  • One would think that EITHER the soloist OR the conductor would have realized that it's being played way too fast!! Surely there must be a tempo marking in the music by the composer. It sounds like they just can't wait to end it all!! Or are they trying to fit it onto a 78 rpm record??

  • interesting interpretation, i've never heard this piece so fast. especially the second part of it gets a strong and powerful feeling, but i think the sadness of the first motive gets lost if you play it so fast. nevertheless: great talent^^

  • Too fast - it's loosing it's all dignity - no need to make it sound like a Czardas

  • GAHHH.! to MUCH rushing.! It needs to be slower... And btw I think Sarah Changs version is the best. :p

  • It portrays complications. Its as if the person is running from something. Twist and turns of fate. Life is like that, isn't it not? It's my own understanding though.

    Thanks for this!

  • it would be more saddening if it were slower, but there is something to say about the way he plays it. There is an immediacy to his playing that just keeps me on edge and engaged still in the emotion. It is still very emotional, just a different emotion. There seems to be a conflict between anger and sadness, almost like a decent into madness sort of feeling.

So far as I feel it at any rate.

  • A beautifull song, someone know where I can find the score for string orchestra? I'm looking for it a long time.

  • just slow down a bit and give it more emotions : )

you will be a great violinist!

    the skills are already there.

  • i like the fast version

  • good but slow down so you can get in more fellings and dont just ruch throu whole piece

  • Uhm. Nice sound. But he really rushed it. I don't like it. :(

  • He gots SKILL Z although does need to slow down a tad

  • troppo veloce!!

  • I think it's better if they slowed down a bit so u could get more of the sad feelings of this piece

  • Where did you find this arrangement? I really want to play this with an orchestra except I can't find an arrangement that is the same as mine (I have the same arrangement as you.)

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Great Violinist! Met him personally and was able to hear him live and his talent is unmistakeably worth all the teaching and lessons he recieved!

  • soloist and ensemble are out of sync in the beginning. and WHY does the concertmaster slash principle violin have his back against the back of the chair? Atrocious.

  • It's a little too fast for my liking but I guess I have listened to Heifetz version with organ too many times!

  • I really like this with the orchestra, it sounds awesome.

  • IT's burning HOT

  • Very nice, sounds awesome with orchestra, where did you guys find that arrangement? I thought it was only published for organ and piano. And as for the tempo, I like it, it gives the piece a different feel. A great piece of music can be played in more than one way.

  • I think I like the faster version. It has more energy and is more striking. To me, it feels more passionate, especially the way it builds .

  • who is laszlo pap??

  • lazslo pap is great!!! hope to see you soon! Marcello

  • better the music performance of Jasha Heifetz!

  • Jascha

  • Jasha?????? Oh my God, please tell me you didn't just type that....IT'S JASCHA!!!!

  • LOL

  • fucking bad ass

  • Good job!!!!WONDERFUL YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME I BET!!!!!!!YOU ARE GOOD AT PLAYING THE VIOLIN

  • it was a little fast (but that's just my opinion, and everyone's got "their own" way of doing a piece. Anyways I thought it was very emotional and beatiful. Thanks

  • nice performance

  • good, but i agree. played way to fast.

  • clean with temperament,bravo!!

  • When you listen and or view a performance, you must not be prejudiced by what you have heard before, you have to do as if it would be the first time you do it, and if you feel moved by the work and it´s execution, that´s what´s important. ¡Bravo for Laszlo and the orchestra!

  • a chaconne cannot be so fast. it is a slow dance. this is an exaggeration. first of all respect, please!

  • it's impossible to listen... you are a bravo violinist, but the conductor.... mah!! i don't like at all... very absurd!!

  • I do like his technique and how he played so fast.. But didnt he just change the whole theme.. I dont consider this the best version... Sarah Chang is more emotional and her interpretation was the best.

  • I like the fast version. It's certainly different, and therefore difficult to accept at first, but excelent, nonetheless. I like it.

  • I admire your creativity and ability to play cleanly at that tempo, but the song lost it's essence at that tempo in my honest opinion

  • yeah, a bit fast, but you gotta give it to him, hes got a good tone. And a orcestrated version is something fresh as compared to all the piano accomps.

  • To see Laszlo again nearly made me cry. Miss Residensea & son.

  • yes..i agree.. way too fast

  • Why does he play it so fast? it would be better slower.

  • OMG. That is so fast never head it like that, I must say its well played. Playing it bit slower would of gave vitali the Honour.

  • yeah I think it was a little too fast too
