  • Class sizes too big, ludicrous levels of indiscipline, overworked underpaid and sometimes downright incompetent teachers, 4 buses a day, racist pupils AND staff....oh how school was crap. Sorry to burst the bubble. Btw I aint forgotten about that question. Also Worldvision, example of covert gospel thumping 'aid' organisation (ur other video).

  • You're down right depressing me with reality! Stop! Have mercy :(

  • I take it crushes don't count? :)

  • LOL...well I guess you can include crushes. Tell me the first please. My 7 year old already told me he has a crush on A first grade teacher AAGGGH! She is sweet & I envy her youth (10 yrs younger), her perky butt & her sweet childlike voice (everything I don't have!!)But now I know what flavor my son likes so that I can transfer classes for him if need be :P

  • Don't be so cruel!!!!! If only I had a teacher with a perky butt & her sweet childlike voice....oh hang, I did! :) ahhhh Miss Parry!!! I still remember ya!

  • i was really struggling in Math and i needed help everyday just about. the teacher was slower and slower to help me and finally started ignoring me. i ask what was the problem. she said she doesn't have time to help me because she has to help the more important students. i asked if i could come after class or sommething and she said that i shoulld be able to grasp the concepts in class and shouldn't need extra help.

  • i had another teacher who was arrested for drunk driving.

but one teacher who was really good was a social teacher who for some reason marked me on the quality of my work and not on my personality.

  • That's because these kids drive us to drink!!!! Noooo, kidding of course.

  • Oh my goodness, I'm in tears :( What grade was this? Did you ever get better in Math at all? How?

  • no i failed. this was grade 12. it's too bad that i didn't have a teacher like you. i can tell that you try really hard probably even with the troublemakers.

  • Actually, I'm know to be good with the troublemakers because I love them just the same :)

  • Love the question, I'm a second grade teacher :) but to answer your question, I will never forget my 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Sandavol (my only African-American teacher). I was a recent immigrant and i spoke very little english, but i remember her warmth and kindness.

  • I'm teaching ESOL this year so what you said is very meaningful for the next school year. Keep in touch because they may transfer me to second grade last minute! >o You might be able to answer some questions :) Thanks for your reply.

  • I'm sure you would make a great ESOL teacher with your gentle demeanor. How long have you taught ESOL. Or is this your first year?

  • I haven't taught ESOL except with ESOL immersed students. This is my second year at this school.

  • If you do end up teaching second grade you'll probably love it as I do. I don't know if I could give you any advice on curriculum, but i have great lesson plan ideas and classroom management ideas. Defenitely keep in touch to exchange ideas :)

  • Thanks a bunch! Classroom management would be a help for sure. But we'll see. All will be confirmed a week BEFORE school begins such as the principal's style. ;)
