Dunno about allergies, but I'm highly hypersensitive, to the point where I'm suffering unbearable pain every day (oral painkillers don't work). And they know it's not in my head, because they have it on my medical records that sedation and local anaesthetic doesn't even work on me. Sadly, where I live, they don't give you IV meds unless you're screaming at the top of your lungs. It's gotten to the point that I often wish I was dead, so that I didn't have to suffer any more...

@detroja001 She doesn't say anything about blood vessels constricting. She says "skin muscles constrict, blood vessels DILATE & eosinophils and basophils enter the affected area". By skin i understand smooth muscle. Histamin is released from the mast cells and that's what cause the dilatation of blood vessels & contraction of smooth muscle"

I suffer from allergies severely, have been since I was young and at this very moment I'm swelled up, eyes are blood shot, nose is runny and burns, throat itches, sneezing, all because i spent one damn minute outside. How much do those shots cost?

I think it's my only way out unless I shoot myself in the face and tell my immune system to calm down that way. Fucking antibodies don't do shit. Allergy medicine doesn't do shit either. Least not for me. I'm not even allergic to much, just pollen. Fucking immune system.

Its actually the proteins on the dust mite's feces that is the allergen.

Also i would like to know a bit more about the immunological aspects of the allergic reaction :(
