Such an excellent game, Betrayal at Krondor. It had the muscular storyline of an actual accomplished fantasy author behind it instead of the "Kill Evil Foozle" tripe that so often passes for motive in CRPGs. Conspiracies and strange bedfellows in a fantasy world far more interesting than Middle Earth, Midkemia, back in an era computer gamers still knew how to *read* instead of everything being voice acted to them. Kudos for posting this. Many memories. We need a second "Betrayal at Krondor."
don't forge the other reasons why it was awesome: great music, good gameplay, great action and it was based on Raymond E. Feist's bestselling novels. which always helps; the creators of the game was totally faithful in their adaptations of the books...which doesn't happen alot!
yeah. they were Feist's original and best characters by far. There was a reason he never spent much time writing about William (Pug's son).

best game ever. Liked it better than fallout and daggerfall and that says a lot.

*sigh* Arutha looks fat, Pug looks a bit too metrosexual and Katala looks extremly trashy. also Gorath just looks strange.

yes, because that Return To Krondor was total CRAP in my opinion! I miss Owyn and Locklear, not to mention, James..=(
