@CptCoolXD He has said that he doesn't train his athletes to do Olympic lifting b/c the benefits don't justify the enormous amount of time to teach the lifts and the high risk of injury. Instead, he uses the dynamic effort method to train explosive strength.

@SMSBJM1981 The only places in the UK that I've found have similar equipment to DeFranco's is at CrossFit gyms. They work with a lot of stuff seen in the video e.g. kettlebells, giant tyres, prowlers, Olympic rings. You don't have like the CrossFit philosophy or do their workouts. I'm sure most will be happy for you to attend like a normal gym if you respect them and don't get in the way of CrossFit classes.

The UK doesn't have anything like the facilities you get in the US. I have yet to find a GHR in any gym I've been in.

If I ever make it out to NJ I plan on stopping by (with prior appointment of course!).
