I recall recently running into this but on a lighter scale (it stopped not too long after starting)

Any rhyme or reason behind this or is it just random weirdness?

Well, now we have more evidence that all sorts of turnable things can be glitched up.

I don't know why it happens. And as for why, well, wouldn't it be awesome to turn a crank while already moving along to your next destination?
