@Arguemento At least the American models. For some reasons Europe has some neat models which America doesn't have that Kia and Hyundai can't yet beat. For example the Euro hatchback civic has been one of the trendiest hatchbacks in Europe for 5 years now. And still, there's the quality differences in the interior where Kias and Hyundais use cheap plastics to cover some of the low price.

@xoquixxoqafxo At least the Prius gets higher MPG, brakes exceptionally well, and lets you creep around in pure EV mode. It's also much better looking and better equipped and has an amazing turn radius and better drive feel. The Prius almost drives like a german car.

@MooperSC i have driven some priuses. they have really not much to reccomend for anyone, roomy yes. nimble no quick no.. efficient not really. a diesel vw can do those numbers. and is easier to fix. and can be made to be reasonably quick.

These numbers arent important to hybrid buyers BUT the braking distance is unacceptable. I don't know if I have seen poorer braking numbers in years. Old full size SUVs with all terrain tires and rear drum brakes used to post numbers not much longer than that.
