I think that this solo is really easy to improvise. You just need to remember to go more slowly than other solos, strike the strings a little harder, and use vibrato when it seems necessary.

@danielcunningham100 LOL Not every multi effects processor has the same effects, but well David Gilmoure uses Chorus, Big Muff, Delay And Reverb, i think hes pluged in to a Vox or a Marshall. Its all about combining the singles effects you have in your MEP to get the texturized sound.

@nice1centurion Use your bridge pickup, and a chorus pedal. You may get the desired effect with a phaser pedal as well on a light setting. You need to have a guitar with good pickups. I play a Gibson SG, and it does pretty well with the bluesy stuff like this. Case and point, phaser pedal, it will make your guitar sound like this.

I forgot to mention, the high pitch squealing is pinch harmonics, Use a combo of your pick and thumb, it takes a bit to get it, but it will make your tones squeal. Just work on rubbing part of the pic and your thumb against the string, you'll eventually get how it goes
