    To you I say,Welcome.

  • @lizardlips98 i agree with lizardlips98. maybe you someday, but babysteps. this is one of the most beautiful relaxing catholic hymns out there. On eagles wings, be not afraid and you are near are my favorites

  • @lizardlips98 Your right about one thing, it is very beautiful.

  • wtf this isnt mass effect

  • "Then the fourth became tall with pride. We are the kings, it was said; we are the Gods. They took wives fair to look upon. Wives from the Mindless, the narrow headed. They bred monsters. Wicked demons, male & female, also Khado, with little minds. They built temples for the human body. Male & female they worshiped. Then the third Eye acted no longer."

  • so awesome, I love the Lord!

  • kocham cie, ojciec! we miss you!

  • I was waiting hopelessly for my academic result of the last semester this morning when I listened to this song. I just cried and knelt down praying to Jesus, saying that I only trusted in him. Then the result was BEYOND my hope. Thank you, o God.

  • Just sang this today at church with a good friend of mine. What powerful words are found in this psalm, and a good message to remember each day, esp. the "Shepherd me O God". When going through hard times that quick phrase can be helfpul to think of.

  • I love this song so much! It's one of my favorites. Praise the Lord!

  • This is such a great song! I love this song so much...

  • So beautiful ! May God bless you always !

  • Just an FYI, to the person who wanted to know of any famous artists who sing this psalm, John Michael Talbot is one such artist.

  • @xxthegriegoxx Try purchasing it. For the uninitiated, see Marty Haugen....

  • Love this song a lot. Lord save me from my painful times, feel like there is a thorn in my heart ,i believe it is because of my sins. I repent honestly my saviour, Be a guiding lamp and a sheperd in my journey of life

  • I can't believe no one has covered this on electric guitar.

  • How can someone dislike this song, it touches through the heart into the soul, no matter what one believes. I cannot proudly say that I am the most loyal, honest, or pure follower of the lord, but I can say that I do believe there is a god, and may he watch over us with love and protection.

  • Almost 6 months cancer free. Thank You Sweet Jesus. And Thank You to everyone that prayed for me. This is a wonderful and uplifting page.

  • do you guise liek butterdog?

  • I have a few questions...

    1. Why do you live?

    2. Did you choose to believe, or were you raised to believe?

    3. What makes you think because ur a sinner, means u lost god?

    4. Do you trully believe in ur own religion?

    5. Do you believe in your church?

  • @madstrbroown To answer your questions:

    1. Because God wishes me to fulfill His plan for me...

    2. I was raised to believe, but never truly did until 3 years ago. I have chosen now to believe.

    3. Sin keeps us from God. But as long as we acknowledge our sins, and repent of them, God will forgive us.

    4. Yes, Christ is our Salvation and died for our Sins, redeeming us in God's eyes.

    5. Yes, the Catholic Church is the original Christian Church, founded upon St. Peter.

  • @madstrbroown would you like to share with us

    what you believe?

  • @mary2945 I believe in god, jesus, saints, and angels, which mostly falls under the catholic church but i do not believe in the rules of the catholic church...

  • @madstrbroown When you try to have it both ways do you not try to make God fit you, and not you fitting God? Did Christ not give authority to Peter and the apostolic college?

  • from the audio cd 'shepherd me oh god' by marty haugen

  • Romains`10:9

  • @xxthegriegoxx : Marty Haugen is the artist

  • Praise be to God. I got my NED today. NED= "No Evidence of Disease". Thousands and Thousands of Prayers, One surgery, 38 doses of radiation, 30 doses of chemo and a year later the cancer is gone.

Thank You everyone that prayed for me and prayed for all the cancer patients.

God is so Great, so Wonderous, So Loving, so Powerful.

  • @jpharris517 : Thanks be to God.

  • @jpharris517 that's incredilbe. ^^ i'm so happy for you. i just pray and hope that the same thing happens for my grandpa. i really want him to get a NED as well and be over with the radiation and chemo. My mom has already lost her parents and my dad has already lost a dear friend and relatives. my whole family has lost many dear people to us, but we know they are with God, watching over us. i just want the rest of my family and everyone else on earth to live out great lives.

  • @jpharris517 :-)

  • Kimmie 4785, Why are you so mean to a man who truly loved you and never did anything to hurt you ?

  • What a beautiful day yesterday. I had a very bad week from the chemo but yesterday was amazing. Beautiful weather, wonderful company and fellowship, great food but most of all celabrating the joy of our Lord and Saviour rising from the dead. Believing in his promise we will also rise from the tomb and live in his kingdom.

  • @jpharris517 Happy Easter! Feel better!:)

  • @jpharris517

HI I heard about chemo but i would like to say you be positive and have faith in your self and have faith in god.He is great and he loves his children

  • @kimmie4785

yes he's a pig and he is worthless

  • My cousin sang this song at our uncle's funeral this past summer.. It was so beautiful. I miss him every day!

  • as a strayed caothlic and a terrible sinner I recently found this music on the tube and I am so glad I did. I have been looking for this song but couldn't remember it completely. Thank you for posting this and helping me remember what i was taught as a child. This was played at every funeral I have ever been to and I am so ashamed at what I have become. Thank you for bringing me back to what i used to know. Rest In Peace Adolph and Francis Gargas I will always miss you.

  • You can always come back, brother. The Church's doors are always open -- repent and pray for God still loves you and there is always hope...always!

  • Steve, welcome back. We are so proud of you. Remember, God is Love. Have a holy Lent.

  • @StevilSteve You were dead but you have come back to life

  • @StevilSteve Hope you staying strong brother!! remember go to confession, keep on washing yourself with Jesus' infinite mercy!!! I did as well live a very sinfull life, but comes as you are and he will put the finest robe on you, put a ring on your finger, and kill the fattened calf for a feast for you!!!

  • @StevilSteve I, too, strayed from my faith. I returned 3 years ago, and it has given me a strength I've never felt before. I am a wicked sinner, an Apostate, yet God has shown me His love and even though I am not worthy of it, I am always grateful.

God is my Shepherd, I shall not want.

  • @StevilSteve Hang in there. i was faithless once and gradually embraced my faith. When my wife died 3 years ago and the following year a hurricane nearly annihilates my house, I became very religious. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and you will be saved and renewed. Remember, it does not matter if you never know happiness in this life, it only matters if you save your soul. God Bless you Steve and I will keep you in my prayers...

  • My grandmother was a devout Catholic, attending church until her last days. Milagros D. Tingzon, you will be forever missed.

my own religion. if you will

  • Thank You for posting this video. It has been very comforting to me in the last few weeks. I am dying of lung cancer and I'm planning my funeral to make it easier on my family when the time comes. I have chosen this song for the processional song. I come here daily to listen to it, it is so comforting to me.

    Praise be to God.

Again, Thank You for posting it.

  • God bless you. How comforting is it knowing that He will gladly welcome you into His Kingdom. I often imagine what that first feeling of light and warmth will feel like when all darkness leaves me.

  • I am so glad that you found comfort in this song. My dad has lung cancer too, now I will add you in the list of my prayers.

May God strengthen you and your family as well.

Peace of Christ be with you!

  • Sang at my mother in laws funeral. Love this, favorite hymm. Mileynjbgurl, sorry for your loss.

  • May peace be with all....

  • Together we are all one under The Great Shepherd

  • 2:05

  • i'm supposed to sing this for my great-grandmother's funeral, but i don't know how i'm gonna make it through the song without breaking down.

  • It's a very powerful song; try to draw strength from it rather than fearing how it'll affect you. Think of it's message: the Lord will guide you and edify you. Good luck, and sorry for your loss.

  • I am sorry for you loss. Think of heaven when you sing this song, it might help. May God be your strength through this sorrow time.

  • I'm sorry about your grandfather. You will do amazing singing this.

  • With God's grace you will do fine.

  • Yes God is good and Jesus was crucified and died but he is alive in our hearts and loves me and YOU Pyramidhead...

  • Amazing, very inspiring. What a wonderful thing to ask our Lord, to shepherd us when our life is clouded by sin. Our Lord is great indeed. :)

    Thank you for posting this.

  • Beautifull video! Well done!

  • May Jesus' love fill your heart so that you too may believe that He is the way, the truth and the light.

Faith is a gift, I pray that one day you will receive it too. May God bless you!

  • I have a theory, Salesian.

I believe that many Christians only bless those who think differently because they want to feel that *little bit more superior*. It's better than slinging bullets at them, sure, but it's still a tad disconcerting.

It's like those ones who'll drive an atheist or pagan from their homes and then promise to pray for their immortal souls. Wow, aren't they *great* people. It's like spritual rape; you can't say no.

But the world needs love these days. >.> Do your best. :3

  • love the song, its very beautiful, glad you put it on youtube

  • GOD is good

  • God is good!

    All the time!

  • sister taa! amazing video

  • Thanks. I am glad you like it.

  • Absolutly Beautiful~

  • Simple yet powerful and beautiful.

  • Most contemporary songs sung at Mass feel ugly and irreverent to me (in comparison to Gregorian chant and similar traditions) but this song is beautiful. Thank you.

  • before i posted this comment there was 33 comments, which is the same age Jesus Christ died for us.

  • I love hearing this song in Church. It touches me in the very depth of both my heart and soul. Thank you Salesiankids for putting this amazing song up.

  • You are most welcome. May God bless you!

  • Go Sister TA! Its me Celeste! I miss you so much!

  • now that I've actually listened to the lyrics, I find this piece quite haunting. makes me realize that I am not ready to die for a long time.

  • Something that confuses me is that in the apocalypse both the living and the dead will be jugdged. So that implies that the dead have not gone to heaven or hell yet. Does anyone know more about this?

  • it aplys to the daed that are still in purgatory. There are ppl that have gone to both heaven and hell as well as many that are in purgatory. When the time comes that he will judge it will aply to those still there.

  • The resurrection of the dead will take place first, and all human souls will be brought forth to face God, and essentially be judged.

  • Jesus 'was' doomed FOR US. The good news for you my friend is that Jesus was resurrected after 3 days and ascended into Heaven

So if you would call someone who is in heaven 'is doomed' then, where is your hope?

Have a wonderful day and may God bless you!

  • Beautiful song. Thank you for sharing

  • Love this song. That's for posting.

  • Why you be catholic hating VC?

  • for the same reason people hate obama

  • "for the same reason people hate obama."

    I seriously doubt it.

  • hah, just think of it as a sophisticated but stringent reason

  • "hah, just think of it as a sophisticated but stringent reason."

Actually I think you're just play games in your free time....play nice, k?

  • lol k? I'll try

  • No one is good in the eyes of the Father except Jesus.

  • I have a weekness for this song. What is a wonderful song! Love it so very much.

  • Shepherd me oh Lord Jesus Christ.

  • This song is so haunting and beautiful.

  • At my uncle's funeral yesterday, i heard this song. It had such a beutiful melody, it helped me remember a lot of times i had with him. How he used to give me tractor rides when i was a kid. favorited.

  • who's singing?

  • Marty Haugen sang this song

  • A beautiful, comforting song! I love the melody.

  • We sang this song at a funeral Mass for a 17-year-old that died in a car accident last Saturday. It was so touching, my whole school went even though we got the day off and we were all on the brim of tears even though we all know he's in a better place now, with God. And like I will always remember Joey, I'll always remember this beautiful song<3

  • <3 we sang this is church today, it's on of my favorites.

  • This song is very Touching they sang this at my Grandmothers memorial service and its so comforting and knowing that she's in the presence of god and Knowing that she'll rise with Jesus on Easter sunday...

  • " It is with all my heart, I say the word. 'Adieu.' To God may u ever belong in this mortal life, serving Him faithfully in the midst of the pains we all have in carrying our crosses, n in the immortal life, blessing Him eternally w/ all the celestial court.

The greater good of our souls is to b w/ God; and the greatest good, to be w/ God alone.Adieu. I desire 4 u the abundance of divine love, which is and will b 4 ever the only good to us only for Him, who has given His Heart entirely to us."

  • " Let Jesus be our crown!

    Let Mary be our hope!"

    ( Saint Francis De Sales)

One of our sisters went to heaven last week and one the back of the mass's booklet was this prayer. I would like to share with all of you. God Bless!
