The only time I was in Miami I found and bought this album at a record store. As I loaded it into the rented Pontiac on the radio -I'll never forget this- there were a few rock type people saying; " I'm whoever from whatever," and as the radio switched to cd it said: "This is Kurt from Nirvana" and then the cd was on.

I love this too...The ironic thing about the 'haters' out there is that Kurt Cobain was very open minded about art...especially the older he got, the more he'd comment on things in interviews about how people make such a big deal out of things like being over protective of art. Many times he'd say..."so what" nobody cares. If he were alive, I can't speak for him, but if I had to imagine, I think he'd laugh when people try so hard to covet his music. He'd probably say, "So-what, get over it"

I really dont understand the string quartet covers. like when metallica had a back up orchestra. Kurts music was great cause you could here him in his guitar. this doesnt even have vocals and is far from what kurt made.

It is just about trying to play this awesome song in a other way than with guitar and vocals, Kurt Cobain was amazing and is incomparable but this is well done and it's right to call this cover "Heart shaped Box".

Just look at David Garrets Cover of "Nothing else matters" by Metallica on his violin, it is great, even or because it's without vovals.

on't compare Grunge and staff with covers on classical instruments, it's different, but I think in a beautiful way.

I love covers and I think they should be played a diff way than the original, sometimes they sound really good, theyll put a suprise in the bridge and make the cover their own. the string quartet just sounds a lil bland to me with the covers they choose. Like when Korn did unplugged, I love em but besides 2 songs it sounded bad, even with the obscure cool sounding instruments.
