  • Jesus himself answered the question If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household(Matt10:25)If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.If you were of the world, the world would love its own;but because you are not of the world-the world hates you.Remember the word that I said to you,A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you"John 15:18–20-This implies The RC Church

  • @Truthetc. By the way, all that stuff you posted last night while we Orthodox were at church, carrying on as we did 2000 yrs ago, is probably spot on. It all has to do with 'Peter this and Peter that'. By doing so, you continue to make my point B/C Peter was Bishop of Antioch for 12 yrs before he went to Rome. EITHER DENY THIS FACT AND BACK IT UP W PROOF, or change your tactics b/c your VERY PREMISE PROVES MY POINT! Do you TRULY believe your Mass has remained unchanged? Address these points.

  • Youve been a busy little beaver! FACT1: R.C. Mass has been gutted and changed to fit the times, the Orthodox Divine Liturgy is the same today as it was 1500 yrs ago! Try to deny it, you CANT! 2: Conservative RC's are leaving the Church in DROVES b/c of this modern Bastardization of what USED TO BE a beautiful service. 3: Last nite millions of O.C's were at the Akathist for the Theotokos services which we still do b/c we havent changed our services to MODERNIZE our Church!

  • In John 10:16, Jesus said, "...and there shall be one fold and ONE SHEPHERD." The Greek word used here is "poimen (masculine, singular)". Clearly, Jesus said in these verses that there will be only ONE SHEPHERD, and that shepherd will be Peter, the first Bishop of Rome and the first Pope.

  • Acts 15:7, during the first Church Council, the Council of Jerusalem...

And after a long debate, Peter got up and said to them,

"Brethren, you know that in early days GOD made choice among us, that through MY mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the Gospel and believe."

Who made the choice? GOD did. Who did GOD choose? He chose Peter. Now that is primacy

  • John 21:15-17...

Three times in these verses Jesus Christ tells Peter to "Feed My Sheep", or to "Feed My Lambs".

  • Did you notice that Peter was the only Apostle who knew who Jesus Christ was?

All of the rest merely expressed an opinion.

GOD the Father, Himself, told Peter alone, and not one of the other Apostles.

It was a blessing for Peter from the Father.

This is a clear sign of the Primacy of Peter from the Father.

  • The Law of First Mention...

When something is first mentioned in the Bible, the meaning of it remains the same throughout the rest of the Bible.

When GOD gave authority to someone in Scripture, HE changed the name of that person.

    1. GOD renamed Abram to Abraham when He made him the 'Father of a Multitude of Nations', in Gen 17:5. HE gave Abraham 'primacy' over all other men.

    CONT BELOW

  • 2. GOD renamed Sara to Sarah when HE made her the 'Mother of Nations' in Gen 17:15-16. HE gave Sarah 'primacy' over all other women.

    3. GOD renamed Jacob to Israel, the name of the Jewish Nation, and Jacob became the first Israeli in Gen 32:29, 35:10.

    4. GOD renamed Simon to Peter in Matt 16:18, thus giving him 'primacy' over all of the Apostles. Why else would GOD give a new name to Simon?

  • The 'Primacy of Peter' has been disputed by detractors on many points. Peter was given the primacy in Matt 16:18, "AND I SAY TO THEE, THOU ART PETER, AND UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH."

  • Dan 2:44, "But in the days of those kingdoms the GOD OF HEAVEN WILL SET UP A KINGDOM THAT SHALL NEVER BE DESTROYED, AND HIS KINGDOM SHALL NOT BE DELIVERED UP TO ANOTHER PEOPLE. AND IT SHALL BREAK IN PIECES, AND SHALL CONSUME ALL THESE KINGDOMS, AND ITSELF SHALL STAND FOREVER."

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IS INTACT-IN UNITY AS WAS FROM THE BEGINNING-THE ORTHODOX BROKE AWAY & DIVIDED.

  • John 14:16, "...and HE WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER ADVOCATE TO DWELL WITH YOU FOREVER."

I believe that verse would mean unbroken continuity until the end of time. Wouldn't you agree?

Eph 3:21, "TO HIM BE GLORY IN THE CHURCH AND IN CHRIST JESUS DOWN THROUGH ALL THE AGES OF TIME WITHOUT END."

    This verse said it all.

  • YouTube is unreliable in seeking truthful answers regarding Roman Catholicism,as there are 1000s of Anticatholics, who misunderstand our faith & most often-their rude replies are untrue.*ALWAYS CHECK WHERE REPLIERS GOT THEIR INFO FROM.Seek reliable sources such as EWTN or CATHOLIC ANSWERS.Historicity of the Roman Catholic Church is found in encyclo.& history books in libraries. To those opposed to our R.C. Church-your cruel words are in vain. Our R.C.Church has endured ~2000 yrs & is DIVINE

  • @truthfulreply WRONG, the R.C. Church has existed since 1054, when they broke Communion with the Eastern Churches. This"Peter was the first Pope" crap that you use to claim that the Pope and Rome are the center of Christianity is your downfall! Your logic clearly puts Orthodoxy as the true faith, since Peter was the Bishop of Antioch 12 yrs b4 he was the Bishop of Rome!!! THAT was the rock upon which Jesus built his Church! Hows that for CUT & DRY!!

  • @assads2000 We are the one true church[Roman Catholic] For 1034 years we were one church-then yours decided they didn't want a pope anymore[Christ est this as Peter the prince of the Apostles. It took you LONG enough to decide you didnt want a pope. Instead your churches are DIVIDED-NOT THE WAY IT WAS FROM THE BEGINNING! YOU BROKE FROM ROME-READ YOUR HISTORY

    MY LAST REPLY TO YOU!

  • @truthfulreply It's your last reply b/c you have run out of TRUTH! You say were "Not the way it was from the beginning".What have you done this week, Orthodox have gone to 7 services for the 1st wk of Great Lent, and are on a strick fast! Your leader decided that Catholics don't have to fast anymore, Mass has been neutered and has Nuns strumming guitars singing 'Kumbaya', is that how you think it was in the time of Christ? What about Peter being Bishop of ANTIOCH 12 yrs B4 ROME! Off 2 church!

  • Just as the Father externally sent the Son into the world in time, the Son internally proceeds from the Father in the Trinity. Just as the Spirit is externally sent into the world by the Son as well as the Father (John 15:26, Acts 2:33), he internally proceeds from both Father and Son in the Trinity. This is why the Spirit is referred to as the Spirit of the Son (Gal. 4:6) and not just the Spirit of the Father (Matt. 10:20).

  • @truthfulreply we,the Romanians, the Russians, the Greeks, and all the other Slavic population didn't had Inquisition, like you, mighty Catholic believer. We,the Orthodox, didn't killed people just because they were from another religion. We,the Orthodox, never tried in our ENTIRE HISTORY to convince EVERYONE,not even by insisting speeches to embrace our religion, because we know every person is free to believe in whatever it wants, and you call yourself a righteous religious man?End of talk

  • Thank you so much for your love of God. Please see my Orthodox Christian video promotions on youtube under 'marykfilms.' My upcoming documentary will examine some surprising discoveries about mankind's sacred roots, and it will verify the eternal truth of Orthodox Christianity.

  • Great information. I just want to add that eastern Africa (Ethiopia) has most of the Orthodox christian (50+ millions of people).

  • Fairy tales and myths.

  • Thus "Pious Fabrications" was born.

  • I believe you said the way to salvation is through the Orthodox Church. The Roman Catholic Chruch says the same thing, but the Bible says the way is through Jesus Christ...

  • @jlcgrama The Orthodox have been steadfast in keeping the teachings, doctrines and theology of the early church. The Latin church has deviated, added or changed.

The New Testament Church is the new planting of God , the Lord Jesus Christ, by His earthly life, His death on the Cross, and His Resurrection. The church indicates the unity of a community with the whole, with the body of the whole Church of Christ. Our spiritual home.

  • @jlcgrama Yes, the way is Jesus Christ, but the accurate faith to Jesus Christ and correct knowledge about God and divine is necessary. Then if no church, how distinguish which teaching is true and which is heresy. Church is body of Jesus Christ and the truth is kept in it. And what do you think what is the purpose of the church?

  • That was VERY interesting and informative - thanks for the download!

  • Orthodox Church is fake church. Almost same as RC! Repent, study the Bible, call to Jesus for salvation and go out of false ritualstic tradition of men. Jesus condemned such :"Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye"Mk 7:13, also: "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."Col 2:8.

  • Im Macedonian Orthodox :)

  • Yay! My Christmation ceremony was last Sunday! Thank you because the information you presented and the way you did it helped me learn and to make my decision to convert.

  • The Orthodox Catholic Church broke away in 1054AD [The Great schism]-both churches were obviously once-one church. The Roman Church still exists with its hierarchy in place with apostalic succession from Saint Peter-our first Pope. The Orthodox no longer recognizes the pope as the head of their Church. The Roman church is the original & its strcutural clergy proves this as does historical documents through the ages.

  • @truthfulreply The Orthodox Catholic Church was one and is one for today and this church is ORTHODOX CHURCH without any modification. And this church is primary successor of the first century apostolic church. This was western pope's church who separated from Holly Orthodox Catholic Church. We have not to recognize the pope as the head of our Orthodox Church. Western Catholic teaching is heresy for today, they add filioque to their Faith and this is big heresy.

  • @truthfulreply It was Cardinal Humbert and the pope's legates who entered Hagia Sophia in 1054, and placed the bull of excommunication on the alter, separating them from the Eastern Orthodox. It wasn't until five days later that the Patriarch of Constantinople then excommunicated Rome. The Orthodox Church does not recognize papal universal authority and infallibility. The Latin church broke away from early church tradition with these new dogmas. The Orthodox are the original church.

  • @vasilyjc1955 Hmmm-it seems to me we have the same heirarchy still instituted under one head throughout the world-you have how many heads? We were on our 153rd Pope by 1054AD-we are on #265 now-how many are you on?

  • @vasilyjc1955 The Orthodox broke away from us-[RCC] & fragmented

  • @vasilyjc1955 Leave him, let he beleives that what he wants to beleive. Seems he beleives in pope instead of Jesus Christ.

  • @truthfulreply You are not familiar with history. It was the Latins who separated from the Eastern Church. The Orthodox have the same hierarchy and are far from fragmented. What about the Protestant Reformation and the Anglican movement, all who separated from Rome's dominance? What about all the Old, Traditional and independent catholics not under the Pope?

  • @truthfulreply

Search something about Jasenovac concentration camp...you will see what is Chatolic church...

  • @MrRatniProfiter I DID AND I COULDNT FIND ANYTHING!

EVEN IF I FIND ANYTHING-DOES IT CHANGE OUR HISTORICAL ROOTS? OR ITS TRADITIONS? OR ITS BELIEFS? OR DOCTRINE? OR THE FACT THAT THE FALLEN FEW IF IT IS TRUE AFFECT THE REST OF THE CHURCH? I THINK NOT!!!

  • @Antimanele104 1. In the one divine nature, there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 2. No one of the persons is either of the others, each is wholly Himself. 3. The Father is GOD, the Son is GOD, the Holy Spirit is GOD. 4. They are not three GODS but one GOD. They are distinct but are NOT separate. Where one is, all are. 5. The Holy Trinity, one GOD, and three divine persons, functions in an individual yet collective way:

    1Cor 12:4-6.

  • @Antimanele104 10. Three persons in one GOD..........Gen 1:26, Mt 28:19, 2Cor 13:14

    11. Father, Son, Holy Spirit...........Mt 3:16-17, Mk 1:9-11, Jn 14:26, 1Cor 12:4-6

    12. False gods will perish...................Jer 10:11

The Holy Trinity (Tri-Unity) Doctrine: in its barest outline, 1Jn 5:7-8

  • @Antimanele104 Haven't your heard of the heresy-Arianism??

Thats why the Roman Catholic Church clarified the Nicene Creed-TO STAMP OUT THIS HERESY.This was professed YEARS before your church broke away from THE CENTER OF CHRISTIANITY-ROME.You didn't want the Pope as Head of your church as was institued by Christ & given to Peter & his successors.

Your replies are rude & don't reflect a nice Christian.

ALL Christians except yours believe in the Holy Spirit being one with the Father & THE SON

  • @truthfulreply and furthermore, imbecile,it wasn't the Orthodox Church who broke up,it was the Catholic Church, everyone knows, even an atheist knows that.from what I recall, the cults and all the other religious sects, all are derived from Catholicism,NOT from Orthodoxism.and even more, stupid,Arianism doesn't reffer to the Orthodox, but to the belief that Arius could not understand the nature of the Holy Trinity and it's tri-unicity,which all Orthodox Christians understand.

  • @Antimanele104 At the ecumenical Council of Florence (1438-45), it was changed, and the council ruled that the words "and the Son" had been validly added to the Creed. The Eastern Orthodox originally accepted the authority of the Council of Florence, but later rejected it.

  • @Antimanele104

The Holy Trinity (Tri-Unity) Doctrine: in its barest outline, 1Jn 5:7-8

  • @truthfulreply wow, still spitting collosal amounts of shit about Orthodoxy:look, retard,we Orthodox believe in the holy Trinity(I don't even know what stupid shit you are blabbering about us not believing in the Holy Spirit).OUR CHURCH DID NOT CHANGE A SINGLE THING SINCE IT"S CREATION FROM THE PENTICOST.and furthermore,I can speak all the way I want to a indoctrinated imbecile who can't see the truth because of his blind faith in a religion that condemmned and kill people.

  • @Antimanele104 GUESS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND CATHOLICISM_ROME WAS ALWAYS THE CENTER -PETER THE 1ST POPE=WE ARE ON OUR 265th POPE-ONE HEAD AS WAS EST BY CHRIST----YOU BROKE AWAY-YOU DIDNT WANT TO HAVE THE POPE AS YOUR HEAD OF CHURCH-CUT & DRY!!

  • @truthfulreply Hey falsereply, me again to further publicly school you. You claim "One head, as was est by Christ". Christ gave authority to ALL the Apostles, the original church was collegiate in nature. ALL ISSUES WERE TO BE DECIDED VIA A GROUP OF BISHOPS, not 1 man as you try to claim. Furthermore, Bishops of Rome were vehemently opposed to "Papal Infallibility" for hundreds of years, AND churches in Rome now have the words "and the son" in parenthesis, and priests have stopped using it!

  • @assads2000 TAKE A HISTORY COURSE IN EARLY CHRISTIANITY

SEEMS TO ME CHRIST CHOSE PETER AS HEAD_ITS ALL IN SCRIPTURE

W HAVE THE COLLEGE OF CARDINALS & POPE

Do you have all of this in your Church?

WHY DID YOU WAIT 1024 YEARS TO DECIDE TO BREAK AWAY & NO LONGER HAVE A HEAD OF CHURCH?? Your church are FRAGMENTED.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IS ONE IN UNITY GLOBALLY.

  • @assads2000 Every time the names of the Apostles are listed, except for Gal 2:9, his name appears first. In Mt 10:2 it even says that Peter is first, "Now these are the names of the twelve Apostles: first Simon, who is called Peter,...". See also Mk 3:16, Lk 6:13-14, and Acts 1:13.

Peter's name appears first also when 3 or 4 of the Apostles are listed: Mt 17:1, Mk 5:37, Mk 9:2,

    Mk 13:3, Mk 14:33, Lk 5:8-10, Lk 8:51, Lk 9:28.

  • @assads2000 Throughout our salvation history, GOD has always provided a 'Father Figure' to guide His people. Some examples are, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, and Peter and the succession of Popes.

  • @assads2000 * Peter alone among the apostles is mentioned by name as having been prayed for by Jesus Christ in order that his "faith fail not" (Lk 22:32).

    * Peter alone among the apostles is exhorted by Jesus to "strengthen your brethren" (Lk 22:32).

    * Peter first confesses Christ's divinity (Mt 16:16).

    * Peter alone is told that he has received divine knowledge by a special revelation (Mt 16:17).

    * Peter is regarded by the Jews (Acts 4:1-13) as the leader and spokesman of Christianity

  • @assads2000 Peter is specified by an angel as the leader and representative of the apostles (Mk 16:7).

    * Peter leads the apostles in fishing (Jn 21:2-3,11). The "bark" (boat) of Peter has been regarded by Catholics as a figure of the Church, with Peter at the helm.

    * Peter alone casts himself into the sea to come to Jesus (Jn 21:7).

    * Peter's words are the first recorded and most important in the Upper Room before Pentecost

    (Acts 1:15-22).

  • @assads2000 * Peter takes the lead in calling for a replacement for Judas (Acts 1:22).

    * Peter is the first person to speak (and only one recorded) after Pentecost, so he was the first Christian to "preach the Gospel" in the Church era (Acts 2:14-36).

    * Peter works the first miracle of the Church Age, healing a lame man (Acts 3:6-12).

    * Peter utters the first anathema (Ananias and Sapphira) emphatically affirmed by God

    (Acts 5:2-11).

  • @assads2000 Cornelius is told by an angel to seek out Peter for instruction in Christianity (Acts 10:1- 6).

    * Peter is the first to receive the Gentiles, after a revelation from God (Acts 10:9-48).

    * Peter instructs the other apostles on the catholicity (universality) of the Church (Acts 11:5-17).

    * Peter is the object of the first divine interposition on behalf of an individual in the Church Age

(an angel delivers him from prison - Acts 12:1-17).

  • @assads2000 IVE MADE MY POINT & I AM NOT A LIAR

Paul went to Jerusalem specifically to see Peter for 15 days at the beginning of his ministry (Gal 1:18), and was commissioned by Peter, James and John (Gal 2:9) to preach to the Gentiles

    * Peter acts, by strong implication, as the chief bishop/shepherd of the Church (1 Pet 5:1), since he exhorts all the other bishops, or "elders."

    * Peter interprets prophecy (2 Pet 1:16-21)

    * Peter corrects those who misuse Paul's writings (2 Pt 3:15-16).

  • @assads2000 DOES YOUR CHURCH IGNORE THE EARLY FATHERS LETTERS?

St. Jerome, Letter to Pope Damasus 15:2, J1346,1346a, 374 A.D.

I follow no leader but Christ and join in communion with none but your blessedness, that is the chair of Peter. I know that this is the rock on which the Church has been built. Whoever eats the Lamb outside this house is profane. Anyone who is not in the ark of Noah will perish when the flood prevails...He that is joined to the chair of Peter is accepted by me.

  • @assads2000 St. Peter Chrysologus, Letter to Eutyches 25:2. J2178, 449 A.D.

We exhort you in every respect, honorable brother, to heed obediently what has been written by the Most Blessed Pope of the City of Rome; for Blessed Peter, who lives and presides in his own see, provides the truth of faith to those who seek it.

  • @assads2000 Where the bishop appears, there let the people be, just as where Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. It is not permitted without authorization from the bishop either to baptize or to hold an agape; but whatever he approves is also pleasing to God. Thus everything you do will be proof against danger and valid."

Saint Ignatius of Antioch, Letter to the Smyrneans, 107 A.D..

  • @assads2000

*St. Leo I, Pope, Letter to the Bishops of the Province of Vienne 10:1. J2178a, July 445 A.D.

But the Lord desired that the sacrament of this gift should pertain to all the Apostles in such a way that it might be found principally in the most Blessed Peter, the highest of all the Apostles.

St. Leo I, Pope, Letter to Anastasius, Bishop of Thessalonica 14:11. J2179a, 446 A.D.

  • @assads2000 This early church father wrote a scruptuous list of early Popes & spoke out against heresies--why dont you read his writngs--you are so dead set against POPES as was in the early church .

Or doesnt your church recognize these ear & eyewitnesses to truths?

Against Heresies (Book III, Chapter 3) - St. Irenaeus

The following is a very early list of popes written between 175 and 190, not many years after Irenaeus' Roman visit, lists the order from Peter to Eleutherius

  • @truthfulreply I have no problem with Pope as a word, it just means father, which is what both Orthodox and RC call their Priests, its a term of respect. My issue is with is with the belief that RC's have of the Pope being above the other Patriarchs. You defend that position b/c the Pope is a Bishoporic descendant of Peter. I REMIND YOU PETER WAS BISHOP OF ANTIOCH FOR 12 YRS B4 HE WAS BISHOP OF ROME! So since Peter is the reason why RC is 'truer than' Orthodoxy you just proved my point!

  • Furthermore, when Christ said 'Peter' was the rock upon which etc., one must understand the CONTEXT. He asked Peter "Who Am I?", and his answer was based purely on FAITH, his belief was as solid as a ROCK. Christ knew it was FAITH which would be the center of his Church, not a single person. Originally, Christianity was a Pentarchy, made up of 5 equal heads of the Church, not one! The term 'Primus enter pares' means first among EQUALS, not leader! Admit it Modern Catholicism has been gutted!

  • @Antimanele104 WELL THEN WHY DIDN"T YOU WANT "THE SON" ADDED TO THE CREED-IF YOU BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY THEN?? YOUR CHURCH HAS BROKEN & FRAGMENTED -YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT HIERARCHY THAN WE DO.

  • Comment removed

  • @Antimanele104 You are IGNORANT of ROMAN CATHOLICISM . END OF CONVERSATION! GOOD BYE!

NO FURTHER REPLIES FROM ME-YOur HOSTILE REMARKS ARE RIDE & JUDGEMENTAL.

  • A well made video. But I would like to point out that one could argue that the Orthodox Church (a name for the Eastern Church that was used after the Great Schism (as well as the name "Roman Catholic") ) separated itself from the Western Latin Rite Church. The Western Patriarch AND the Patriarch of Constantinople both implemented acts of excommunication and in all fairness, the Catholic Church can also claim that it is the original church.

  • @Tyler1990W No, not Orthodox Church separated from Jesus Christ one holly church. This Church is founded by Jesus Christ himself about 2000 years ago. There cannot be several truth, several charches and several way to truth. Jesus Christ is one and his church cannot be divided because it is one whole holly church. But which church carries the thruth without any corruption and which "church" teaching is false you can investigate that.

  • @Tyler1990W The Orthodox Church has protected original dogmatic teaching about God. Western pope's church made fatal changes in dogmatic teaching of church. Why? The name "Catholic Church" is misappropriation from them.

  • @Tyler1990W There is no argument. In another post I state ,that it was Cardinal Humbert who first placed the bull of excommunication on the alter of Hagia Sophia in 1054. This was during a liturgy. It was later that the Patriarch excommunicated the Latin church.

  • @vasilyjc1955 But the excommunication debate even started when the Patriach of Const. urged, more like demanded, that the Pope and the Western Church not only change a part of the creed that had been activly said by western Christians more than 500 years. ALSO the Filioque was just one of many issues. The Eastern Church basically condemed the Latin church for using unleavened bread. The Patriarch of Const. wanted to be the first among equals.

  • @Tyler1990W Have you ever seen the day before the Orthodox Easter in Jerusalem when the holy fire comes on Jesus Christ's grave? This event happening ONLY ON THE ORTHODOX CALENDAR EASTER AND HOLY FIRE BURNS ONLY IN ORTHODOX PATRIARCH'S HANDS. Look at that and beleive, this is happening every year on Orthodox Easter on such a holy place.

  • thanks for let me know the truth faith orthodox chiristian keep it up. good bless you

  • Read "abc to eternal life" on google. Miracles: Holy Light, Holy Water, Jordan river moving back and many more.

  • My questions to you Orthodox Christians is this:

Why should I follow your ways? My ancestors were Ukrainian and they had their own religion. Why should I follow the religion which was literally forced on them? The old Slavic religion tells of the existence of a supreme god and his descendents who are also gods, so why worship your god? They also tell of a favourable afterlife for the true. Why abandon the old religion for some new one which is from a foreign land?

    Please, share.

  • @Vovk3 Well, i'll try to answer. Nobody forces you to be Orthodox Christian. You are free and you decide what to choose. But the advantage of Orthodox Christianity is obvious. If interested you can learn Orthodoxy, church history and why is the Orthodox church only true church and primary successor of the Old Testament and first sentury apostolic church.

  • @Vovk3, Mentioned above "gods" from you, i suppose you meant false pagan gods. In old times there was different types of idolaty, somebody believed in "sun" somebody in "zeus" somebody in "fire", stars and variety variety of "gods". True God is only one and this God is that which the Bible teaches us.

  • @Vovk3

I am an Orthodox Theologian, styding to one day be an Orthodox Priest in Serbia.I am very aware of Rodnower religion, reincarnation of old slavic paganism, and I as a pan-slavist am very interessted in that. I know most of the God,their meanings, beliveings, and also the pagan traditions of my and your ancestors. I am proud of that past and its my history. But we did not always know the truth, and Orthodoxy brought us knowledge since creation of manking, directly into salvation of our kind.

  • @Vovk3

After all, look at Lithuania, it was pagan and one of largest european countries, and they were MILITARILY ENFORCED and today of their great empire left nothing but a shadow. You think it wouldn't be same with Slavs?Greeks brought us books and its nobles who fought, but Germans brought us pain, blood and steel. Catholic fanaticism and bloodlust would overcome us and today Slavs would be shadow too. Look Great Moravia for an instance,Svyatopulk accepted Roman faith and Moravia disappeared.

  • @Vovk3

But its not just politics. Roman-catholic "church" is just a band of minstrels which put your sins away for money and many other stuff, they are platonic and non-christian, just having christian markings. But Holy Orthodox Church does not change only your view of things, but your hearth, soul and ethics. When did Orthodox made crusades or inquisitions? We don't need violence, our Lord is called "Slovo" - Word. We belive by word given by God, not by coins and sword. Its just morale part..

  • @Vovk3

By tradition, history and many other stuff Orthodoxy has greatest utterance and is strongest.I respect faith of my ancestors and I would like if I would live in their world and belive in faith of my ancestors, but then I wouldn't know the true faith. But now I know it, and I can't stand still while knowing meaning of my existence and ethics which bring your mind and soul state to perfection in council with the meere God.That's why I lead myself into the great task of serving Boga Slova.

  • @Vovk3

Our ancient religion was related to our own nation, to our own proud Slavic kind, but it was just a boundary religion created of meere tradition, it was just a Slavic fairy tale. It was great for Slavs but others? Orthodoxy is UNIVERSAL-CATHOLIC, it unites all mankind to its creator, to the God, which never said nothing of vileness and badness in its core, nore does it have it. It wasn't created by people but by God and helds truth in its hands, and leads mankind into salvation.

  • @Vovk3

Reason why to accept it is because its faith of real God,not people. It has only righteousness and goodness in itself, because our God is good and his faith,Orthodoxy, is brought to us and is nothing but God between people, present in our souls, which doesn't choose your skin race or hair type.It chooses every single man, because every man came from one and all men are the same. Two hands two legs, hearth, soul. Orthodoxy proaches love, faith and hope, which are by themself God and his products

  • There are no Orthodox churches that are in the area where I can reach,(like 45 mins drive), I believe in the way the Orthodox church preaches and its traditions and I think its the most apostolic, but I dont have acess to one in my area. There is a Ukrainian Catholic church which I find to be very similar in believes and traditions, but they believe in the infallibly of the pope. Would you say attending this Ukrainian Catholic Church would be a similar experience to the Orthodox?

  • @EncoresGameplay No.They are Catholic.Orthodox churches and services are totally different.

  • Don't forget the Arameans, our christian brothers who were the first to convert to christianity, residin' in the middle east, the different islam empires and the latter ottoman all tolerated them until kemal ataturk's turkish nationalism, when scores of armenians, arameans and other non-muslim minorities were massacred, yet our Lord Jesus' language llives on in the aramean communities livin' abroad,...thumbs up to ya!!

  • The Catholic Church is the ONE TRUE CHURCH ! Not the "orthodox" church. The "orthodox" church broke from the Catholic Church. The "orthodox" Church needs to unite to the Catholic Church ! The Catholic Church was founded in 33AD at Pentecost not the "orthodox" Come Home to thw TRUE Catholic Church, Come HOME !

  • @dis00612 Keep dreaming. It was the catholics who broke and changed the Christian tradition. "Home" could never be the place of the "Popes". They commanded the 4th crussade against Constantinople, against Christians, a mass murder. I know many catholic who think to convert due to the scandals of catholic church.

  • @PRAET0R11 Your wrong. Study your history !

  • @PRAET0R11 who gives a shit or maybe you. it was so long ago.

i bet the Orthodox church would have done the same if they were in the west or there was an opportunity, humans are humans we do stupid things. who gives a fk jesus loves you , don't sin and go to church there you go thts christianity. You statement just proves orthodoxy is so much in the past.

  • @dis00612 yes, cause paying the pope to go to heaven is certainly god's will

  • @panosmel97 what are you talkin about?

  • @dis00612 NOT PAYING THE POPE TO GIVE YOU A FUCKING PEACE OF PAPER WILL SEND YOU TO HELL!!! this is what im saying. pope is the devil himshelf.

  • @panosmel97 I dont understand what your getting at but are you talking about Indulgences?

  • @dis00612 yes.these shit papers.the way god wants it right ?

  • @panosmel97 I dont think you understand what indulgences are. What is your understanding?

  • Great video, showed it to my kids! Thank you! Orthodox Serbian American

  • I never heard anything about this form of Christians...i dreamed it n looked it up n it was real..idk why i would dream of this or was God telling me something but i know..i came access u all through a dream

  • It's too bad Protestantism is rapidly growing and not Orthodox Christianity (which is the only true Christian denomination).

  • @BayAreaOrBust Actually Orthodox Christianity is pre-denominational. We are the Church, the Body of Christ, not a denomination. :)

  • I was orthodox for around ten years,i was a "reader" and also an "alter boy" for a short time as well as spent much time in monasteries in both Wa, Az,Ak and churches in MT and OR as well,i have ate with bishops and have been company to many orthodox priests families and many monks of which ive worked along side and even personally know an arch priest who serves the bishop himself..I am no longer orthodox

  • i've always wondered about what orth church stands for. interesting video. my question: "the ortho church is the way to salvation for all people" what do yu mean by that?

  • Thanks for the video. So do all Orthodox churches believe that the others are valid and not some heretical offshoot? Are Greek/Russian/etc. churches essentially a national version of the same tradition - i.e. in essence interchangeable?

  • are orthodox tied to us Catholics

  • Love the video ,made me laugh because when i converted most of my friends thought i became Orthodox Jewish . Also very nicely done laying out everything

  • Greeting from Bulgaria .. :)

  • orthodox power, regards from serbia one of orthodox states in europe

  • >They helped kill 66 million in Russia.

It's bullshit. I'm Russian and I know what I'm talking about. Communists fought against German, England, Japan and, surprise, Americans (on the Far East) during the First World War and against German Nazis and their allies during the Second World War. Russia lost more then 30 million people, but won. After that demography in Russia constantly grown till the 90th, when communism was ruined. Study history instead of "Holy" Books...

  • I thinck that the catholic peolpe (the most) are not satanics but only victims of the catholic church... and we are here to save them...

  • Jews and Communists completely infiltrated Orthodox Church, just as Freemasons did the Catholic Church.

They helped kill 66 million in Russia.

Surpringly, Catholic clergy could have their death sentence reduced to amnesty if they converted to Orthodoxy.

    Many refused and became Martyrs.

See FatimaMovement Website and learn what happened to Euro Orthodoxy and how Jews infiltrated it.

  • Interesting, but it seems to me that the orthodox church has begun to be infiltrated by ex- Protestants who, instead of abandoning their rather nasty fundamentalist, Calvinist or Lutheran worldview, have brought it with them after converting to orthodox Christianity , with the result that you now find all sorts of creationist mumbo-jumbo and nasty little "sin" ideologies perverting the purity of the original church. Sad.

  • That was awesome!!! Thank you so much for posting this. People ask me all the time what it means to be an Orthodox Christian and now I can just send them this link. Great work!!! Also, check out the film my brother and I wrote on 11.11.11. It's called IMMORTALS and we definately worked in a great deal of our faith and beliefs into the movie. (even though we are dealing with the GREEK GODS)

  • I am Orthodox christian from Montenegro our church called Serbian Orthodox church

  • Hey thanks i been looking it to joining theme.

  • I think that you forget Russia on the map.

  • NON POPE OF ROME SPLIT with the HYPOCRITE catholic church which just seeks influence and power and doesnt give a DAMN about moral and integrity...they ABUSE the name of the lord this is already indicated in the ten commands..catholizism = SATANIC

  • Nice video brother. I wanted to tell you that I'm following your blog from now on and that i am astounded by the cosmogony that has been going on in the US.

    Greetings from Greece.

  • hey i have been going to an orthdox church lately and need help learning you vidoes help....

  • baptism and many other religious ceremonies are not performed properly in Catholicism. The Pope is head of heresy!Protestants are a waste and lost

  • As a Roman Catholic, I find this video quite tasteful and honest. I believe that the ties in which bind us are stronger than those that would pull Christians apart...please keep up the good work.

  • @trueorthodoxfaith but both churches are catholic

  • @rbd510 Roman catholic church and the eastern orodox church practice the same faith and believe in the same things. You can take the eurchist at a orodox church even if you were raised a roman catholic. The roman pope accept the orodox church as apart of the true church. All because both churches are catholic

  • @spryrambro This is incorrect. The Orthodox and Latin Churches are very different. An individual not baptized in the Orthodox Faith cannot recieve Holy Communion in an Orthodox Church.

  • Wow. Mr. Withun. This is a powerful vid., Thank you for this up load. I am learning a lot.

  • Thank you so much for the video. I'm posting it in the description for my facebook profile. Good work and God Bless.

  • I lve the way we haven't changed from 2000 yrs ago and we are still going that way. Proud to be orthodox and greeting from eritrean orthodox!

  • ORTHODOX CURCH FOR EVER MY BROTHERS MY JESUS BLESS YOU ALL !!!

    GREETINGS FROM PALESTINE

  • @rbd510

Go to Orthodox Church and talk with some priest. He will show you proof that Orthodoxy kept all Truth which was given from Christ and apostles to Only Church.

Mormons are sect, and Roman-Catholics had fallen from Truth.

  • very interesting, thanks
