No throttle body spacer and mass air are kinda waste of money knowing what I know now. CUSTOME TUNE ALLLLLL THE WAY.I went from shifting at maybe 6000 rpm to sometimes hitting 6700 which actually scares the shit outta me but o well blow it up then make it faster I say.

hey dude nice running. acutally pretty good run. but. it seems like you are not getting thr most out of the high end of thr rpm. since it shifts at different points. dont mean to offend im a chevy technician. try a different programmer, for example jet has a bad ass programmer for your truck. good luck. keep it up
@stg3gtfour thanks bud I appreciate you info. Since this video I went and had a custom tune done and that got old so I did a mid size lunati voodoo cam with pacesetter long tubes. Ill post video soon
@neckredjr22 since you have a cam now and not just any cam, work on your tranny a little like a shift kit or a stall kit although that could get a bit steep if you dont have the right coin. you're going the right direction though and if you're looking to built a beast its definitly the right way to go
why not dhart...its the same motor......im betting this truck had its ass lifted off the ground. I have the same truck, flowmaster exhaust, it is quicker, but not as fast as what is shown here.

when I say throttle body i Mean bigger and no shit its sequential fuel injection but thats still a throttle body I just got a bbk 80 mm throttle body on there so doesnt sound like ur as smart as you think you are sluggadouch 11
on my programmer its between 5.96 and 6.14 but neither of those do I hook up. It spins in first and it spins in seconds also sometimes so I wanna get out to a track with a little rubber and vht and see what it will do. mainly top end torque has gone way up. from 60 to 120 its pretty quick
ya espically the programmer because it helps tune your truck to settings that saves gas. I have the flex fuel engine in my truck so it gets between 15 to 25 on the highway. this video still isnt with the truck at max settings but im taking it easy until i get more miles on the engine.

tomE:1999 and up vortec engine, hence the 5.3 in this video, don't have throttle body'd anymore, they're all SFI now. Sequential fuel injection.

Ihave 5.3 sierra ext cab with 50 series and kn intake were the mods spacer and edge worth the money also i get 12-18 mpg now how does it do with mods
