I had a customer cuss and scream at me for almost 10 minutes cuz she couldn't get online, turned out her modem was unplugged (but it was still our fault!) More than half of my calls were like this, and you don't ever hear about these type of calls, b/c no one wants to admit that their dumbass could have easily fixed this on their own, had they just done some basic troubleshooting.

@G14xT Nice. I personally like my Dell PC though but I just stopped relying on DTS period because they make it harder than it needs to be. What is amazing is that when researched, you learn that even the most common issues with PCs are actually not as difficult to fix as TS makes them out to be. If anything, they are pretty simple even to the most tech illiterate. I am convinced however that TS exists soley to make it harder than what it needs to be just to suck a few extra bucks from you.

But hey; If I didn't have to wait on hold for 45 minutes, listening to the same terrible hold song, then be greeted by someone who doesn't speak my language, then I might not be so fucking pissed off. I had to RMA my laptop for a burnt out video card, and after sitting on hold for an hour, some guy in India started asking a bunch of questions, but wouldn't just accept that I knew what I was talking about. After I asked for his supervisor, I got transfered to some guy on the west coast, then he did the same thing... so I asked for his sup. Took 2 hours to get an RMA number only after agreeing to pay if I was wrong... I paid nothing! Stupid tech support system.
