If Favre had had discipline and a true team concept he could have stayed with Green Bay and might have secured another SB for himself in 2009 as a Packer. We see now that Favre had two more good years in him. I played college football and our team has changed drastically in the last four years with players leaving. It is very difficult to stay consistent at the top when your team keeps changing. When i see a team with immediate superbowl potential, I don't care about the far future.

If Favre had had discipline and a true team concept he could have stayed with Green Bay and might have secured another SB for himself in 2009 as a Packer. But he dug himself a hole as far as being indespensible through an undisciplined career and he overestimated his worth and underestimated Thompson's. If he had put his energies in the right place instead of working himself up that he was somehow slighted, he could have retired a Packer with even further glory. Instead - a pathetic a-hole.

We see now that Favre had two more good years in him. I played college football and our team has changed drastically in the last four years with players leaving. It is very difficult to stay consistent at the top when your team keeps changing. When i see a team with immediate superbowl potential, I don't care about the far future.

Look it up, I have. Brett is Only QB in Playoffs History to throw Interception in OT & lose Twice vs eagles in 04 & vs giants in 08.
Packers didnt just lose in the Playoffs, they lost cause of Brett Favre. With his Stupid Interceptions as you can see.

i didnt personally watch the gave against the eagles and sure some of the blame is on him that the packers lost that game but for sure i watched the whole playoff game when they played the giants and the packers wasnt even playing well as a team if the kicker didnt miss the FG there Would be no overtime in the first place the packers deserved to lose and am a die hard packer fan and a Brett fan to say that

Understood. But when you go into Overtime its a brand new ball game 0-0. First team to scores wins and goes to SuperBowl. Packers with the ball, Brett Favre with the Football with a Chance to Drive his team to the SuperBowl and be Clutch but instead EPIC FAIL on Favre throwing Interception to giants, other Packers were wide open, if he had thrown to Greg Jennings he would have probaly scored.

honestly like sure you can consider that a choke but that shouldnt label him as a "choke artist" there are way more Qbs let alone other players in the NFL that deserve that title more then Brett Favre does Brett is a good player all around if you dont like the way he plays just dont even bother watching simple as that just dont label him as a choke artist when you only see the negatives of a player

For one thing Brett has nothing but been bombed by the media and i have never heard a comment EVER in the media calling Peyton Manning a CHOKE the dude is fucking one of most accurate passers in NFL history and honestly most of his interceptions sure were his fault in the playoffs or whatever but the people that love him tolerate that because he never gives up thats what people love about Brett he keeps playing the game he loves at a high level through pain and whatever he has to deal with

If you looked at the team his had starting from 1999 to probably 2006 they never even looked like playoff teams starting of the 07 season they werent even predicted to even make the playoffs let alone the nfc championship. Honestly if you think if the packers had one that game do you think they would have beaten the patriots? if you looked at it realistically nope and brett would still get blame. My point is the blame is always gonna be on the QB unless you look at it from a differnt stand point

No you dont understand. If the Packers lost playoffs game with Brett playing good and NO Inteceptions than thats not a Choke by Brett. Packers didnt just lose playoffs games, Brett had a Huge reason why they lost.

If you actually what ive said before i said sure that interception was his fault i never denied it i even think even he knows that it was his fault but what am trying to say is this person Brett Favre even through bad plays like that he still plays he plays cause he loves TO PLAY thats what a true football player is HE PLAYs at a high level he takes those chance because thats the player he is if you dont like him fine but dont label him as a choke artist.

I kept trying to listen closely last night at dinner for him to give a hint of what he plans to do. He gave no hints, just was there enjoying the time with his family. I love the person he is 24/7. Took pictures with the kiddos, he is the greatest. Love ya Brett!!

28 + 4 = superbowl......adrian peterson tore the league up the past two years without a qb threat next to him to take some pressure away ...imagine what his #s are gonna be with favre there...thomas jones went from 890 yds and 1 td 2 years to 1500 and 20 td last year with brett..... minnesota and favre are a real good fit for eachother right now
