Actually the surviving marines hijacked  a covenant battlecruiser the Ascendant Justice and escaped Halo. He was on the ship. The chief also joined them. They made a jump back to Reach and destroyed 12 covenant capital ships and rescued some stranded spartans.

@pimpslayer101 well Reach wasn't glassed like a lot of the worlds because it contained forruner artifacts so there could still have been some resistance left. The pillar of autumn left the fighting in the beginning of the campaign. MC wasnt the last spartan. There were 2 spartan 2 survivors from reach and several spartan 3's left.

And really who cares. Maybe we should listen to Johnson and put down our video games and actually live our lives. lol O.o
