No andrewika, Gilad is the best guitar player on the planet period. Rosenwinkel , Torsten, Lage, Broom, Witfield, Van Ruller etc etc none can touch him, he is the only one that makes me want to give up, that is why I do not listen to him.

@3jazzrain7 listen to him , then Johnatan Kreisberg, than Andreas Oberg.. there are other dimensions of the guitar.. Rosenwinkel is something like Jimmy Hendrix for the other rock guitar players from 70 -- not the best but the pioneer

Never realized how much impact Allan Holdsworth really had on jazz guys. Kurt Rosenwinkel always talks about Allan or mention him in interviews. Gilad obviously spend some time listening to the guru as well, and what a monster he have become...

All the guys in Australia like muller and mags have hollsworth as a large influence. He is just a really exciting guitarist...
