Dirk Bogarde was such a brave actor, and long ahead of his time. It's such a shame he never received an Oscar. His performance in this film is incredible.
Wow, what a powerful scene. He comes out to his wife, she drags him out of the closet, only to help him realize that he has actually known and expressed love. She offers him the opportunity to acknowledge his love for 'that boy' for perhaps the first time in his life.
