I just put one on my 2011 dodge 1500 and it's the 3" in and 3" out single and it sounds good granted all I have is muffler and cat no tip or turndown buts it's smooth and loud when you hammer down on it. It's alot better sounding than my brothers 04 silverado with 40 series flowmaster and 3 1/2 inch silvertone tips. Hands down
This muffler replaced a 24" Magnaflow witch lasted 3 years.Polish rusted through.Nothing wrong with Magnaflow,just wanted to try something different & not spend $100 again .This Thrush sounds very good & now a much deeper sound over time.Almost a year & the case looks the same so if it gives me 3 years of service it's all good.try one out before you knock it.
Its an Edelbrock 2102 cam 204/214-.420/.442.This cam is also known as a RV cam which provides very good torque & mpg,their are many variants of it which all are good. I installed it myself but cam & rest of parts were close to a grand.I believe just a basic cam swap is around $800 which just gets you cam lifters& springs.
Tips a Magnaflow
slant cut 4"x12".It came with the original Magnaflow cat back I installed.The tip was the only thing I kept from that system.
