Pete Gill was one of the greatest Metal drummers out in Saxon. As far of his days in Motorhead. Thats a Filthy animal Phil Taylor gig. I wasnt keen about Lemmy after Fast Edie left. But Peter Frank Gill was one of my teenage heros when this came out. His drumming is superb. This era of Saxon was the real deal metal I loved. Tygers of Pantang, Saxon, Priest with Les Binks. as far as the rumors of Pete being gay? I could care less. I still think he is the greatest.

Steve Dawson is the shit!!!!! Like Phil Lynott, Lemmy, Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, John Entwistle, John Deacon, Jason Newstead, and many others, he is one of Rock's best Bass Guitarists in the world. The way he plays, the aggression and balls he displays, and the way he interacts with the crowd.....I hope that if they put Saxon in any Rock and Roll Hall, Steve will be there to accept alongside the others like Oliver. I hope in O.D.S that he and Oliver are getting by.

getting old is inevitable. as such, his voice isn't what it used to be. it happens to everyone. look at
robert plant. there is no way his voice can hit some of the notes he hit back in the 60's and 70's.
that show that led zeppelin did in 2007 is proof of that.
