  • where is part 2?

  • use a suction cup geniuses. and charge ur damn camera before making a repair video.

  • @mzsuziX Humm... Do a little research... Did you come up with the suction cup on your own? Find a video posted on Youtube before Feb 2009 that suggested a suction cup. Read the full description of the video. We mentioned the suction cup. Thank you for your contribution to society by posting this comment. Very helpful!

  • "we work in it so if we cant do it the average person cant" im pretty sure the average person knows how to turn an iphone off. u don't hold the POWER button and the home button. these guys are fucking retards,

  • Can you tell me somewhere I can go to fix my iPhone screen.

  • Enter: goo.gl\k55ge and get your own iPhone 5.

  • 0:40 I ASS HOE

  • 0:41 LOL

  • advertisement----------$

  • Why opening Iphones must be so dumbass?

  • Both of these idiots need to use the suction cup instead!

  • Use a butter knife if you want to fix it for free. i did it and it worked to remove the screen. Then I used the part u hold to kind of hammer the sides back around the new screen. Thumbs up me if you appreciate my advice. :)

  • you guys should have never posted this, u guys are dumb and dumber hahahaha

  • damn dude, wrong side!! just use a suction cup

  • ehm where is part 2 of this video?? i found only part 3-5 in your channel?!?!

  • lols u need to get practiced lmao.....

  • to turn off the iphone all you do is hold down the power button at the top right until the device says slide to power off. holding down the power button and the home key at the same time leads to performing a hard shock of the device.

  • lol unscrew the 2 screws and get a suction cup. make sure the suction cup is locked to your screen and just pull. Easy ;-)

  • Hey i know these people :)

  • All I did was fuck up my rubber between the glass and the metall-thing..

    thanks a lot.

  • VERY GUD VIDEO

  • Hi,

I have an iPhone 3G that blew up because I bought a cheap crappy iPhone charger on eBay. :@ I want to sue the seller sooo bad ! :@ There were sparks flying when I plugged in the wall charger & my iPhone blew up & now is dead. I bought a new OEM charging port but it didn't work. New battery didn't work. I'm assuming it's the motherboard that's been blown up too & is dead now. Is there any way I can fix it ? Or is it damaged beyond repair ? Thanks ! :)

  • i have a problem .

after i replaced the screen i turned it on but the screen just goes white for a few second and does not boot

  • Dude use a saction cap...

  • two words: suction cup....

  • fatality mal burro no has terminado tu trabajo jajajajajajaaaa tonto

  • Can anyone tell me what size screw driver i need to remove the tiny screws on the lcd? i tried 00 Phillips and 0000 Phillips but it wont budge

  • a pocket knife or puty knife works the best

  • hï_äñÿôñÈ_wãNnÀ_chÁt_wIth_mÈ_í_fEÊl_sÓ_lÔnElÿ_tødÁÿ♀

  • I found an iphone 3g 16gb on the side of the road. I took it all apart. I had to change the chrome frame piece, the back housing case, the front digitizers glass, and the LCD screen. It was a little difficult because i got it all smashed. It is harder to take stuff apart that is all dent and oxidated. Now if you think changing the digitizer screen is hard then obviously you haven't fixed many things before.

  • I think you should buy a new one.

  • i wud rather go apple store !

  • upload please second part...

    Cant wait :o

  • u need a sucking tool ....LOL

  • i fixed my screen but why wont my iphone connect to the computer?

  • "IT WONT WORK!" lol its the wrong side! u dont do that one first!!! duh... then u go and get some other tools.. dumbasses

  • @merebear48 - Thanks for making the world a better place by posting a helpful comment.

  • its easier to use a suction cup after you take the screws out. It pulls the sceen right off

  • @hhh4evur - We comment on that in the description. At the time we shot the video, there was no videos out there suggesting to use a suction cup and we did not think of it ourselves. It is a better choice.

  • Where the eff is part 2?

  • There is is Part 1, 3, 4 and 5. Where is part 2?

  • someone is breathing and making a squeak LMFAO! this video is a big ball of fail!!! use a suction cup .. give it to people who know what they are doing!!!!

  • Mad skillz, guys!

  • Hey guys, i have an Iphone 3gs, the screen is not cracked but it looks like the inside beneath the screen is crack. Theres some light gray fuzzy thing at the bottom right of my screen, it looks like dead pixel am not sure, how do i fix this?

The LCD screen is not broken at all, its still responsive but the gray thing is in the way how do i fix this

  • where do you get the tools

  • Hi,

could anyone please please please let me know which screw driver do I need when I have opened up the iphone and when i take the screws out of the LCD whats the screwdriver called becuase i tryed using the other one it wont work at all please could anyone let me know which screwdriver it is that you use to take out the 6 screws out of the lcd attached to the glass thanks in advance many thansk!

  • @uni06 just use a very small screw driver. there is no name for one. if you have a tech deck, the screw driver that comes with that works.

  • @uni06 nevermind i was thinking of the other screws

  • OMG 5:00

ur like the monkey who cut the branch on which he waz sitting, lol

i mean take off ur hand from screen and then pull it

  • If anyone is having trouble fixing their iPhone you can have us help you out! Visit irevampelectronics (dot com). We offer high quality repairs and repair kits. They even come with a 6 month warranty! Use promo code "youtube" to save 10%

  • To those who follow these videos...don't complain if it fails, IF your iPhone wasn't broken by your own or some of your friends stupidness, you wouldn't have to look and follow them. (Ecspecially considerung toddeddy1)

No need to remove the SIM-card, you won't have to deal with it.

Next is, their videos aren't that far away from how it should be done on 3G and 3GS, BUT never use this damn case-opener-tool, you'll damage the dust-protecting-rubber of the middle-part and the display itself.

  • i have two different iphones one is broken and one works the broken one the sleep button nor the home button works and the screens cracked the new one is 4.1 is there anyway i can swap the insides so the the 4.1 new iphone has the older ones media in it?

  • @thugztaa

Not as far as I can tell.

You'd have to do soldering work on the spcial chips containing your old media and even then it wouldn't mean, that it works, it's just the idea, how your wish might be fullfilled...but I wouldn't do so.

Sleep-Button doesn't work? Maybe you should let a company take a look at it? In case you are lucky, "just" the head-jack-unit and the touchpad-glass have to be replaced. If you have bad luck, mainboard has crashed by a short-circuit (maybe caused by water?).

  • @DJ140285 u dumb nigguh, stop being a indian and watch repair videos on utube get it fixed it by a professional

  • I am a professional, only tried to help you in a sensefull way, so you don't get the idea of destroying both of your iPhones.

Very nice, you insult people, giving you advices...shows how much brains you got.

  • man i need help! i replaced my iphone display and now the under part doesnt work! i cant pres the phone, mail, safari, or ipod i icon. i can use the under part of the touch screen :( please help

  • @MrZr350 Hello! If you would like some help on your repair you can visit my channel or site at irevampelectronics, com .....Please let me know if I can help!

  • Is there a reason I can't find part 2 of this video? Only 1, 3, 4, 5 are showing up, but it's part 2 I really need! Ugh.

  • what kind of screwdriver are you using

  • instead of counting how much time it takes to solve the Rubik cube they should count how long it takes to take an iphone apart

  • i had a dream (nightmare) that my iphone 4 screen was broken.

    lol

  • lol use a suction cup it's the easiest way attach the suction cup over the button then pull

  • Wrong way to open the screen. Never do that. Unscrew the two screw at the charge port then use a small suction cup to next to the home button to pull the screen off.

  • Comment removed

  • @tib080808 Also, you can pry the bottom of the screen at the home button and that will not mess it up just be careful because there is some wires attached at the top of the front glass.

  • @plasticORpaint

Prying around the screen will easily break the rubber gasket seal around the screen frame. It's a pain to put it back in place without little lose rubber pieces sticking out. I messed it up that way so hope no one will make the same mistake.

  • For everyone who is trying this, you can remove the screen without damaging the rubber using a suction cup, BE CAREFULL, IF YOU PULL TOO HARD, IT WILL RIP OFF 1 CABLE !!!

  • Shouldn't pry anything! Use a small suction cup. I used one that you buy at Walmart that you put in your shower that has a hook for whatever. stick it on just above the home key and work it back and forth a little and it should pop out.

  • haha einfach mal losgelegt ohne plan naja hätt ich mich nicht getraut bei meinem iphone

  • Where is part 2?

  • Wtf so they have missing steps and if you dont do it right the dont give you a refund?

  • my iphone just had car accident.as in the car roll over the phone. the whole screen cracked but surprisingly the phone is still in 100% good condition even the touch screen is working except for the severe crack on the surface. what a miracle! iphone is phone from heaven man! :)

  • i also cracked my iphone screen but not as bad as yours except only half the screen still works when touched the other half does not respond to when touched. what should i do to get it fixed/ how much it gunna be

  • i agree with your comments, i should have watched the video thru before beginning. nobody thought i was a bigger dummy than me when i forced the thing open at the wrong spot. my problem with this video is they should have editted the part before their "diet pepsi break" out. then dummies like me won't ruin their phone and have many headaches trying to get it repaired. bottom line is DONT FOLLOW THIS VIDEO. use the one from zeetronic instead. that guy doesnt try to be cute.

  • wtf? if you type the model of the screen that wasn't broken on the internet. It says its bulletproof. Why would you order a bulletproof screen?

  • sorry...I can't see anything but a white screen.

  • Thanks for the video...I did everything fine but for some reason now I can see may home page or anything at all on a white screen, I opened the phone again thinking maybe I did not connect the part but it seems to be fine. What do you think I did wrong?

  • @SoCalGirl24 hey same happend to me you probably didnt connect the screen wires

  • how did u smash it?

  • Vaya par de retrasados.

  • What in the hell are you doing?

Remove 2 screws next to the dock, and use a vacuum cup.

  • you guys started prying in the wrong area and i followed your lead destroying my iphone. thanks.

  • @toddeddy1 same

  • @toddeddy1 Why didn't you watch the video through first and take more care, I followed this video through and it worked fine, this is the best instruction video because it's just two guys doing it blind, not some guy who's done it a hundred times, so you see the bits they struggled on, I struggled on them too, but following the video my iPhone is fixed, if you hack at it like a spastic you're going to fuck it up, you can't blame these guys.

  • @toddeddy1 should have wathined the hole video first

  • @toddeddy1 maybe you should watch the whole video before doing it, they obviously arent experts as shown in the first few minutes.

  • @toddeddy1 fail

  • @dharmesh1989 your a faggot

  • @everything9511 WTF, Fail at toddeddy for not watching it all first before religiously following it.

  • @toddeddy1 nice job retard

  • @toddeddy1 aww man im sorry :( i would help u if i knew u !!

  • @toddeddy1 Should have looked at the whole video before starting. Hope you learned something....

  • FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To take the screen off it doesn't take einstein to figure it out, 2 words...

    SUCTION CUP

takes about 2 seconds and NO damage to the phone. Sad thing is I emailed the company to update their video with the suction cup method after seeing many people damaging the phone and they still think this spudger is best. Sad, very sad.

  • @ZammitChannel

acting like a dik on another channel...

  • okay guys, dont be fucking retarded and hold down the screen while trying to pry it open.....

  • Thanks for the video... it took me a few times of taking it apart and putting it back together ( I don't think one of 3 tabs were seated) but after I put it together the third time it worked like a champ. I bought a otter type cover on ebay for 4 bux so it won't happen again. Thanks again for the video... I found it to be a great help.... I do wish you had a better close up lens... :-)

  • worst video, total waste of time. dont use it as a tutorial.

  • PLZ help me i tried contacting loads of iphone repair services but they never seem to email back! shows how they value their business.

my problem is this: i had a cracked screen and replaced it with a new one a while ago. Unfortunately now my ear peace isnt working and i cant find any signal anymore

if i was to buy a Iphone 3G Complete Replacement Front Assembly Unit of ebay. would this also fix my signal issue? im guessing the antena is inside the screen?

  • Comment removed

  • this is not professional

  • Easy way to do this is get a satnav suction cup and it comes straight out with no problems at all, takes all of 3sec.

  • Are you guys a gay couple? You sound like one

  • man man der typ hat keine ahnung wie man das richtig macht! soll ich dir ne lehrstunde geben? mit einem schraubenzieher! ist der beklopt!

  • You really work in IT?

Glad its not with me you clowns.

  • You don't use a screwdriver to pry the screen open. It's not safe. It might spoil some things beyond it.

  • I just replaced my iphone screen but when I put it back togetther everything was upsidedown and back to front. I reopened it and now I only have a black screen I have tryed holding the buttons and it went to a white screen but no matter what I do it wont work.. now I have a black screen again.... is the 3g and the 3gs screens different?? have i put the wrong screen on my phone?? anyone got any HELP 4 me

  • From your video, it's very tough to open the complete LCD+digitizers.

The sticker is good, but the open tooling is bad, you should change it.
