  • Thanks so much for sharing such rarities! Perhaps some day they will be appreciated and preserved as they deserve.

  • ROTFLMAO! This was without a doubt, the FUNNIEST thing I have ever seen! I couldn't stop laughing!

  • My 78 year old dad sent me here. He went to school with Marty in London, where his nickname was apparently 'Spiv'.

  • Die Now, Pay Later! AHAHAHAHA!........Seems Marty also laid the foundation of American Capitalism!

  • Interesting! Hammerman, please check my personal message?

  • great post! love paning for bits of comedy gold like this! well done!

  • a bizarre delight!

  • I can't see to write this I have 'laughed till I cried' - very, very funny! I like the last scene of them bashing one another on the head then trying to dig a grave in ground which is like concrete! Thanks for posting! hahahahaha! - still laughing at the thought of it! :D

  • Marty is amazing! Is there anyway to get these sketches on any DVD's or if not VHS?

Thanks so much for posting these, that's awesome that you knew him. And I gotta say as much as a Python fanatic I am this is funnier than anything they've done!

That end where they keep trying to bury one another, omg it's like a twisted Looney Tunes episode I love it so much! I'm totally facebooking this one!

  • I am so glad someone is finally sharing Marty's sketches. I was a huge fan of the Comedy Machine, and also miss him very much.

  • It's hard to find stuff that actually makes me laugh out loud. Where most others fail, Marty Feldman succeeds. I wish more Americans appreciated this kind of humor.

  • Saw him driving his roller through Muswell Hill - brilliantly funny.

  • One of the funniest men of the 20th century...he left us MUCH too soon....thanks for posting!!

    Bob in Louisiana

  • Genius, utter genius. . .

  • LULZ XD

  • used to watch this show. thanks for uploading.

  • LMFAO!

  • I used to watch Marty Feldman when I was young, This type of thing and Monty Python pretty much shaped my taste in comedy and sense of humour. Great stuff!!! Thanks for uploading this. You're a Star!

  • Does anyone know where i can get one of them coats marty's wearing or even what they'd be called?? Thanks :]

  • @MistaSpookie

    salvation army ???????????

  • You think they'd have one? Do you know what the name of them are mate? Thanks :[]

  • I think they're called frock coats - do a Google anyway. Try Ebay, charity shops, Saville Row?

  • Thank you very much sir!! Much appreciated :]

  • When I was a kid, late1960s, we had the Marty Feldman Show. I watched it, but, vaguely remember it.

  • This rare copy of the sketch might not exist anywhere else. Have you informed anyone that you have it?

Marty might have had this copy known that the series was to be wiped. Though this episode was discovered years later through a VHS recording.

    Please reply if you can.

  • I recently viewed the episode this sketch was featured in at the BFI.

I thought I'd just mention that this sketch actually had a narration over it from Marty. As well as an audience laughter track. Also, I think a couple of shots from this clip were cut in the final show.

  • BWAHAHA! pallbearer's club! epic genius!

  • Loved it!

Thanks for posting this. I'll leaf through the others later; don't want to spoil myself.

There was so much more talent around in those days despite or perhaps because there was very little money spent on the programmes.

WIsh I had a time machine and a stack of video recorders!

  • "Home for the very, very old"... :-) LOL!

  • Humor today is never so innocent.

  • ace

  • yes thanks spike and marty are geniuses

  • I loved Marty's car-crash trick with the mirror. His little smile of satisfaction after you hear the collision is just too much xD

Thanks for posting, this is fantastic!

  • Just wonderful. Both of them were brilliant. What a treat to see them together in this rare clip!

  • Thanks for uploading Marty I have been searching for his stuff for years especially the comedy machine shows to no avail, if you have any more please add them. I love his stuff truly an original. I hope someday the shows will be released along with the DM Golddigger stuff.

The fat farm was the first thing I saw and I still laugh at the memory of it. Wish it was here.

  • Wow you knew Marty Felman? I wish I could say that. He was a comedic genius.

  • I vaguely remember Marty going to a fat farm, losing all the weight and then blowing up again. Very, very funny.

  • funniest stuff ive seen in a long time :D

  • lmao 4:50

  • Thank you. My father and I were so sorry when Mr. Feldman passed away, and we feel he doesn't get the attention he deserves as a great comedian. It's wonderful to have the chance to see this skit.

  • Good Dog thank you so much for posting this, I'd forgotten how many of my days were cheered by Marty and the gang!

Timeless and still funny as hell!

    5stars and moar!

    Denka fuer diese Videos!

  • this is great!

my Mom's cousin was a friend of M. Feldman's a very long time ago. His name is Don McMurray.

  • Waited 44 years to see this - bloody funny, and WHAT a double act!!!!!

  • yes its spike milligan. this is the most hilarious.

  • No I'm wrong...it's ...Spike Milligan. Yes!

  • The other undertaker is .... Peter Sellers???

  • Great post.

I haven't laughed like that for ages.

  • the sound effects are brilliant!

  • Marty Feldman, Woody Allen, Peter Sellers. Among the best there ever was.

  • I especially like the order in which you chose them.

  • @canvas42 You're forgetting Spike Milligan..

  • Thanks for this. I have a copy of the "Comedy Machine" episode this comes from, but it's edited, and has a laughter track and narration over it. The narrator, when they join forces says "they decided instead of being two unsuccessful undertakers, they should join forces and become one big unsuccessful undertakers". One more thing, the narrator was Orson Welles.

Keep posting these brilliant rarities. They are hugely appreciated. God bless Marty.

  • aww I <3 Marty Feldman. O_o thank you for posting these :-)

  • Of course an anagram of 'funeral' = 'real fun'!

  • SPY VS. SPY

    lol simple funny

  • complete genius...British comedy at it's very best and the rest of world knows it. No-one has filled the void left by these guys and perhaps never will.

  • Just wonderful. Both of them were brilliant. What a treat to see them together in this rare clip! Thankyou so very much!

  • thats funny

  • Lol!

Thankyou so much for posting these! It's fantastic to see him in some of his best sketches. Hey has anyone here seen "A day in the life of a stuntman" by Marty?

  • Does anybody have the Feldman sketch where he takes his bird to the vets office in a big box?

  • Hi,

Thanks for posting this - I forgot how funny he was

  • This sketch is causing my sides to split open through laughing so much. Will Mr Feldman please come round and pick up the pieces! Excellent comedy thanks for posting this Hammerman. I'm slowly getting to look at all your stuff it's terrific.

  • Thanks, thanks, thanks! I've seen clips of this since the 80s but never the whole thing. I'm pretty sure is does still exist in an archive but as with all 70s stuff it is a bit near the knuckle for the PC brigade. Good innocent fun, an why not?

  • Hammerman I'm glad to see you have a video of this. I have the whole episode on tape recorded of TV. I was scared as I thought it was the only copy. I keep thinking the series was wiped. Do you have other episodes from Comedy Machine.I'll try upload mine when i get them on computer

  • Absolutely brilliant. Great timing, great acting, and wonderful material. Marty is sorely missed.

  • OMG! That was the coolest video I have ever seen. I have always wanted to make a vintage style comedy about undertakers. Awesome!

  • By the way, you don't happen to have the football commentary sketch in your collection do you? I've been looking for that one everywhere.

  • Milligan and Feldman in one of the funniest sketches I've seen in years, thanks mate!!!

  • i gotta say, that was great. i rember watching young frankenstien with my mom but i never knew he did anything after that. i find this sketch particulary funny because i am going to school right now to be an undertaker and i can totally relate to this clip.

  • I haven't seen this since I was in seventh grade! I have always remembered it and laughed at it over the years. Thanks for posting it!

  • British comedy at it`s very best, performed by two comic genius`s.

  • Just brilliant!!!!

  • A really superb piece of cinema featuring two of the greatest to ever grace it. Thanks for posting this, pure class.

  • This is Just totally Hilarious! Marty Feldman was a genius!

  • Brilliant!!!!!

Thank you so much for posting the film for people to see, Feldman was a genius.

Please let the BFI preserve and restore this film for posterity!!!!

  • Thanks so much for uploading this- I think it's from his "Comedy Machine" series- a lost classic- please post some more if you have some...

  • I would post more, but I'm unable to. The uploader hangs and doesn't do anything and no one's gotten back to me about why this is happening. I'm using the same format as every video I've already posted. I've wasted an entire day on it and look like a maniac in the mirror!

  • Very funny.

  • This makes me wonder if Marty might have given Mel Brooks the idea for Silent Movie?

  • This was great! I was a big fan of both Marty Feldman and Spike Milligan (with and without "The Goons"). Thanks for posting this!
