I remember the NCAA tournament in 2003 and D. Wade was playing for Marquette as a JUNIOR. I remember he had a GREAT game to beat highly favored Kentucky and went to the final four where they got hammered in the semi's. The same year as 'Melo. I feel that gave him the recognition he hadn't had before because if you go into the NBA in your Junior year, that says your not this great mega-star. I truly believe it was that game against Kentucky in the Elite 8 that gave him a name! J.M.I.
If anyone watched the FIBA championships, you'd notice Wade seems to have increased his vert. On one of his dunks (which he unfortunately missed), his head was right at the rim, which I've never seen him come close to. Maybe he did some plyos or Air Alert or something.
maybe u need to ACTUALLY watch that mix this time...then ull see if D-wade even gets close..wades good, but he hasnt really done anything spectacular yet to even get him into the top 10 out of the players right NOW..i know he dunks a lot in games, but nothing that special
First of all Wade = 26 ppg 6 ast 6 reb 47% sp, and thats not top 10?.. thats just to start.. second of all wade became the only 4th player in league history to avg 30+ ppg 8 ast 8 reb 50%+ sp, joining Magic, Robertson and Bird.. And finally Wade is a much better finisher than Kobe, I'm sorry, just look at the dunk statistics, Wade has 26 more dunks than Kobe, plus he owns the top spot in nba top 10 plays.
