  • Corporate greed only exists when there is no competition. If a company were to raise prices or lower quality for its consumers, the consumers would flock to their competitors. The only possibility of an economy being run by greed is an economy where the government taxes the businesses and uses that money to destroy competition by creating their own jobs, funding bailouts, or placing regulations on businesses they do not want to succeed.

  • they should publish a record of where every dollar politicians accept money comes from.. people need to know who and what funds these elected people.....i think if people knew what the actual agenda is for alot of government.. they would be enraged..and we already are getting a baby taste of whats to come..the occupy movement may not be as well organized as people want.. well GET INVOLVED..at least these americans are doing something

  • How about you people go protest at the southern U.S. border. That's where the real problem is. Kick out all these illegal fucks n build a wall.

  • No one will ever give the people freedom. The people have to take it.

  • Not much in Main Media, over here in Europe, Your doing great work there. Be careful not to get arrested otherwise you'll be first into the Fema Consentration Camps, and just like Joe Biden said Micro-Chiped and Brain Scans to see if you have criminal intentions.

  • @stabuwithaspo0n Badass! And here I was worried.

  • RT is the only news channel that is actually showing you what is going on in this country. They spent nearly 2 hours on this last night. Guess how much the big 3 spent? 1-3 minutes. None of them showed the police violence. They tried to roll it into stories on jobs. Speaking of which they spent a total of about 15 minutes - at the beginning and end talking about Steve Jobs and the night before that Michael Jackson. America is being hoodwinked by the big 3.

    Watch independent news.

  • • Go home, communists!

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.." • "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.." Winston Churchill

  • @Bergertim If you think these are all socialist, you have no idea what's going on.

  • @cobrajitsu Oh, you must be completely ignorant of the FACT that these protests have been organized by the SEIU and other communist groups. You also must be completely ignorant of the FACT that the poster they use to promote these protests depicts a man beating a sword, with a hammer, into a sickle. Google "Days of Rage poster" to find this. Look it up and think for yourself. Their stated goal is the collapse of the USA. Anyone who supports this goal is a traitor and a moron.

  • @Bergertim There is a plethora of people behind the protests in Wall Street including Tea Party, Ron Paul supporters, Democrats, Liberals, Conservatives, Libertarians and People that are just hungry and unemployed. You can't judge what's going on because of a poster. It's about the marriage of Corporate Power and the State. When Corporate and State are the same it's called Fascism which is a type of Socialism. The are fighting against Corporate Socialism. Read your Constitution.

  • @cobrajitsu First of all, there are not that many people there. Maybe a thousand protesters. I seriously doubt if there are any TEA Party people there. I am a leader in the TEA Party and our group wouldn't go anywhere near this crap. These are socialists, communists, Obama supporters and a few anarchists. The TEA Party stands for less government spending, smaller government and more freedom. These socialists want just the opposite-more government spending, more taxes, less freedom.

  • @Bergertim You are misinformed sir. It's over 15 thousand. And it's not just new york. it's now in 100's of US cities.

  • @OperationDx1 Their numbers were bolstered by union (again, more communists) groups, and yes, it has spread to other cities, but not "100's." Probably more like a dozen. Tell me, my friend, do you support their goal of collapsing the country? Is that what you really want?

  • @Bergertim Do I want the banks to answer for their crimes. Yes. Do I think our political system is corrupt. Yes. Should the current system fall. Yes. It seems to be the only way. I hope that it can be done in a peaceful manner. Those with so much power are not just gonna let it go without a fight. It's gonna be up to them if the revolution is peaceful.

  • @OperationDx1 So, just for the record, you do want the country to collapse. The United States: the greatest symbol of freedom that has ever existed. You want to destroy that. Did bankers commit crimes? Perhaps. But do you know the real cause of the 2007 financial collapse? Probably not. It is a little known law called the Community Reinvestment Act. A law, passed by Jimmy Carter, expanded by Bill Clinton, which forced banks to give out NINJA loans (No Income, No Job, Assets).

  • @Bergertim Let me ask you this. What would you have us do? Just let things keep going business as usual? Let the 1% keep destroying our lives? The quality of our lives have fallen so far that many are unable to maintain even though they have full time jobs. I love the Idea of america. But it has been destroyed from within. The FED pumping money from thin air. The patriot act destroying our rights. the bail outs misuse of billions. If you have a better idea?

  • @OperationDx1 Keep in touch with me and I'll help lead you out of this mess. The TEA Party is going to re-shape this country from the top down. That is why the left is freaking out. And, the top 1% is not "destroying our lives." The government is doing it. Look up the CRA law I told you about. It will open your eyes to the false reality, in which you have been put into by these fanatics.

  • @Bergertim Well then let us agree that things need to change. One way or another it can't keep running this way. And I'm also willing to look at any information and form my own opinions. My feelings on this matter is I am not seeing anything being done. And this protest is the first ray of hope that I have seen to attempt a force of change. My feelings on this are not a sudden hop on the band wagon. I have been feeling this for years now.

  • @Bergertim No it isn't. The TP is part of the 1% and nothing will change. They are anti-union, anti-freedom, pro wall street, pro capitalism. THey want to send all of our jobs overseas, take away what benefits we still have, turn our Social Security over to investors while they reap all of the benefits. Time for NEW leadership without a private agenda, to be held accountable, while not being afraid to make the rich pay taxes like everybody else.

  • @jhs5150 Spoken like a true communist. You can't have freedom without economic freedom. Communism is slavery. Wake up.

  • @Bergertim Having corporate America pay their share of taxes is not communism. Neither is fighting for decent wages/benefits/healthcare/the right to choose/ to voice an opinion against the gov't without having overzealous police whacking people in the head. You think the TP is the answer. They have already been co-opped into the RP. They/you are now part of the problem. That is why OWS cannot let themselves be co-opted by the unions.

  • @jhs5150 We already have the highest corporate tax rate in the world, communist.

  • @Bergertim You're dreaming. I'm begining to wonder if you even know what a communist is. The largest corporations in this country pay NO INCOME TAX. Oh you think because the middle-class is speaking up against all the bullshit the gov't has been spewing that it's a communist movement. I've got news for you pal - THE MIDDLE CLASS IS AMERICA! Without it is a serfdom of only the rich and the poor. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. See how that worked out for France and England.

  • @jhs5150 Anyone who wants to pit rich vs poor is following basic Marxism, class struggle philosophy. This is what you are doing, yet you seem to be ignorant of the fact that you are doing so. I don't think you know what a Marxist is.

  • @Bergertim If you don't think that is is exactly is happening in this country then you are blind. I support the middle-class. I am the middle-class. If you are convinced that the TP is the way to go then go for it. In four years when you lose everything you've worked for and realize you were hoodwinked by the saviour you voted for then you'll come around to the way people will have been thinking four years too late. Get your head out of your ass.

  • @jhs5150 Listen, communist, communism and socialism don't make anyone rich, they just make everybody poor and miserable. And, I'm sure you are also completely ignorant of the fact that communists have murdered, and starved to death over 150 million of their own citizens, in the USSR, China, Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, etc, which makes them about 20 times more evil than Hitler and his Nazi regime.

  • @Bergertim Wrong. It goes back to the Reagan days with deregulation. Reagen removed all the corporate taxes and taxes on the rich. You are misinformed. The TP has been rolled into the Republican party and that's why no change will occur. For a movement to have any power at this point it must become an independent party and that's what this movement will become as it picks up steam. This country is fast apporaching a facist nation and the TP cannot fix that - they are part of it.

  • @Bergertim This country is already collapsing. It has been on a steady decline since the 1970s with the oil embargos and Corporate America has been complicit in it to keep the status quo, just like they are now. The 1% have weakened it by sending MFR jobs overseas, importing workers on greencards to do the jobs that American workers should be doing and paying them crap wages and no benefits. I see it everyday so don't tell me it doesn't exist.

  • @Bergertim So these people are protesting for more government spending, taxes and less freedom? I think not. They are protesting for your freedom liberal and conservative alike. I have voted Republican all my life. Socialism doesn't work, but neither does Corporatism. The Democratic and Republican parties have sold their sold to the Kleptocracy. We don't have Free Market Capitalism. I support the Tea Party 100% We must come together as The People or perish under tyranny.

  • @cobrajitsu I'm telling you, these protests were started by communists, including Obama's best friends. There may be a few who have been fooled into standing with them, who are not communists, but the people pulling the strings here are the SEIU and other communist groups.

  • @Bergertim This started in Spain. Nobody expected the #SpanishRevolution.

  • @cobrajitsu Not really. The "Muslim Spring" started in Tunesia, but they don't really have anything to do with the Wall Street protesters. The communist groups in the USA have copied the strategy of the Arab Spring people, because they want to topple the government, but although they do have a sort of alliance, they are different groups. And, the Arab Spring groups, by the way, are radical Muslims, who want Sharia law. They are already killing Christians in Egypt.
