@aaugoaa They are not standing infront of a religious symbol. It's actually the centerpiece at the Carl Sagan Planet Walk, at Sciencenter, in Ithaca, New York. It's a sort of memorial/monument to Sagan, who was a professor at Cornell, and a resident of Ithaca.

@IanBillings00 right lol i went and had a good look at this monument, i thought it was a obelisk, it looks like one on this video, however it is full of symbols like a obelisk would be, although the symbols on this monument are so stupid, like a

umbrella, birthday cake, a person in a bed, and a clock, only Americans would do something that stupid, lol
