  • like the little pedo laugh at the end nice touch.

  • THE ONLY BURNOUT I SEEN IN THIS VIDEO WAS YOU

  • might as well take that doggy mother fucker to the bone yard, you haveto do a brakestand to even get the tires to roll over, who does this stupid shit anyways????????????

  • The Pontiac 400 4v with a 4 speed is what made theme such a killer, the olds engines were bulky and couldn't handle hard racing.

  • The Olds Engines are what made this such a killer ......

  • vaya que motor , al mio le falta la trasmicion

  • Hm, how can a 79 be a Bandit when the original one was a 77? They look quite different.

  • whats better than a trans am doing a burnout?

a bandit edition trans am doing a burnout

  • Nice !!!!!! But those poor tires lol

  • Thats what a rocket looks like when it launches

  • the bandit should deliver pizza

  • This what i call it a SUPER MUSCLE beast ... hehehe

  • What is the definition of a muscle car? The Pontiac Trans Am.

  • Hey man, wanna give me one of them trans am's?

  • cant stop watching this!!!!

  • will it do a burn out without touching the brakes?

  • @Straightsix76 sure it will

  • fuckin stupid people

  • Fuck Year!

  • the trans am look like transmission auto same the transmission manual

  • @ReeceAwesome You're right. It's even better.

  • scary laugh at the end..... wierdo

  • wacka flacka flame

  • @xXBRENT13Xx it could be a camaro

  • @orangesarerealgood Its a Trans Am cause you can see the side pipes, and the tail lights

  • @wildkyler95 i still think its camaro they look the same

  • @orangesarerealgood

r u serious its a trans am ok what was knight ridder???

  • @soulalone2010 how would i rember what kmight rider was

  • @soulalone2010 the original knight rider was a trans am as well only a newer model.. knight rider was a 1982 model and the original bandit was a 1977 model

  • Awsum car

  • @XBLYourUnknown - reason I say that....its one of my dream cars...and they're hard to come by,least the good ones.

  • know thats a muscle car

  • my dads is pushing out atleast 600 horse.. idk hopw much torque, but you dont even have to break torque to spin the tires.

  • 9 people dont have a trans am

  • 9 people dont have a trrans am...

  • AHHH VHYYERRY NYYIEECE! - i was trying 2 write that with a borat accent

  • whats the big deal about these long slow as cars !!!!!

  • @MajorMajor34 yea that cutlass burnout you have on your videos doesnt compare to this one

  • Get off the Brake.

  • way to tare it up

  • what do you have to do to burn out? hold the break and rev it a whole bunch? whats the min. amount of hp u need to have going to the wheels to do this?

  • @shredder1500

had a 70 chevelle with a 502 turbo charged, when id race people, from the start when i nailed it i stood there for about 5 seconds with the tires doing this. then slowly started crawling while spining them. we the tires caught i was fucking hauling ass. flying passed cars at literally 140 in a 55 once

  • @shredder1500 it depends on the weight of your car and if the grounds wet or dry. I did it in my v6 firebird when the ground was wet no problem. it has 135 horsepower. It melted some of the tire off though lol. I also do it in my 81 turbo trans am on dry and that thing does the best burnouts iv'e seen. When u do a burnout don't stomp on the brake just put it half way down and the lower rpm to start your wheels spinning the better. work your way up after they spin. but burnouts kill the clutch

  • bandit was way better nice try tho

  • hey bud, got a name for ya.......BIG SMOKE!

  • beautiful.

can't wait until I get mine rebuilt

  • Bring back the 1970's. Better yet bring back the 1870's. I'm old fashioned I know.

  • what is the car off to the left it looked like a 70ish Firebird or TA

  • Someone call the police cause this is child abuse! Why treat such a beauty this away!! Oh it hurts to watch!!!

  • dream car

  • How to kill an AT-gearbox. Hold the break and give him power. Thats how I killed my gearbox in my 93er Firebird :-(.

But the smoke was cool, the price not ;-)

  • As long as you're passionate about it you're willing to pay the price for gas, and actually if you really are passionate about it gas is a small price to pay, its kinda like paying extra taxes on nicer things you just get an extra gas tax on an amazing car. Me? I wanna be the guy in 2048 blasting down a backroad at double the speed limit in a 79' T/A. Although by then im sure the gov will have some more rediculous ways to regulate us, like mandatory computer chips to set car's speed limits =P

  • One of the best off the line muscle cars ever built!

  • can i replace the old auto gear box with a modern 5-speed? Is it a possible?

  • Cloud....?

  • I own big block muscle cars and they use Alot of Fuel...as long as they keep pumping I will keep burning it up..Oh Yeah Long Live Muscle Cars!!!!

  • Loved my '79' TA!!!!

    Nice memories here!!

  • 6.6 was a great motor... never heard of one breaking down... you could peel out until the tires burst, and the motor would still be fine.

Thats something you would never hear in an actual situation - "Damn, my trans am broke down" Normally the bodies rust away before the engines die

  • @Marrowni hell yea man my 403 has 500,000 miles

  • @Marrowni The 403 Is A Torque Monster Just Add Some Horsepower And It's A Beast!!!

  • Respond to this video...

403 Is A Torque Monster,Very Smooth And Responsive. You'll Have To Go To Hell And Back 2 Break Down This Engine!!

  • love the giggle at the end

  • whats also very impressive about these cars, is in the late 70's the fuel shortage hit, government regulations to kill power happened, and pontiac somehow built a winner...In terms of handling these cars are amazing, but in the power department its a bit sad even though the 6.6 litre could make 325 ft lbs of torque compared to some of the japanese shit now , yeah the car would get smoked bad.... But the car had style , and flare, and wasnt a shit box

  • @beers2257 soo like against something like a g35 would it get smoked..? cause my dad has a 79 trans am and dont know its potential..

  • @itonycSD if its a newer g35 then yeah off the line it if its a stock transam its gonna get smoked ...as far as potential the late 70's transams had alot as far as being able to pull real power out of the big 6.6 litre engines, however from the factory with low compression ratios and pollution controls they were pretty sad power wise...if your dad's is a stock lets say 403 cid motor its capable of 185 horsepower and 320 ft pounds of torque...id recommend a total tear down and rebuild

  • @beers2257 i prefer the 1972 sd455 trans am...more rare and personally a lot better looking

  • @mrchemicalromance the 1972 transam no doubt had a hell of alot more power then its later models, i believe the 455 for that year came in at 300 horsepower and 415lbs torque...as far as the style i guess its a preference...i liked the square headlight different style nose like we saw in 1977.... thru the years the transam will remain one of gm's bright spots...i know after 1977 with the introduction of the olds engine alot of pontiac guys were sickened , i personally think the 403 is better ...

  • @beers2257 yea thats true...for me i think the '73 looks a bit more sleek but dont get me wrong this car featured in the video is still damn nice i just like the looks of th '73 trans am and the '75 camaro

  • its not a real bandit tho its a replica what motor is in it?

  • This depresses me because 17 years ago I had the chance to by a white 79 Trans Am with a restored 6.6 engine :(

  • @captainB3aky2 Never pass up a chance like that My wife and I owned a black 79 with 64K miles. Owned it for 3 years then had to sell it to pay the bills. A decision I STILL regret today. I will own another.

  • @FLABandit What's worse is the fact I have in my house an ariel photograph ( large framed picture ) , and there's the car on my neighbors driveway, I also hope to own one before I kick the bucket.

  • it gutless man i hated how they down powered everything but the cars a beaut

  • iz it bad if i felt a tingle down below?

  • @The1FastGP your not a man if you didnt

  • Nice burnout down the road and i saw another trans am in the corner

  • im going to go watch some nissan 350 z and acura integra and toyota supra videos and talk about how badly theyll get stomped out stock vs stock against american cars.... trolling if you will....

  • love the laugh at the end lol.

  • fukin awesome

  • glad its your tires

  • Hey boys when my 77 hits the road she'll be pushing 400HP...c'mon u whimpy jap jobs...try me...i dare u!

  • noone knows a classic when they see one

  • Nothing but awesome

  • Eastbound and down my man

  • WOW IM IMPRESSED!! Those Trans Ams were about 100 horsepowe at least. Man that thing would murder my golf cart by half a second.

  • no 79s were used any any of the bandit films

  • @bandit3271980 smoky and the bandit 2!!

  • Dude, the Firebird got much uglier in '79! The '78 is so much better!

  • The bandit trans am has t-tops

  • Who needs tires anyway?

  • beautiful.

  • Love the laugh at the end of the clip. :-)

  • well actually not, this muscle car can last longer than others. I'm looking for one.

  • 31 years old and still badass!

  • @TheHornet79 its gonna be badass forever

  • @TheHornet79 this is great love the car!!!!

  • @TheHornet79 it will allways be unless its not got a engine in it

  • Ok so im stupid but is this model an Auto or manual??? Please be kind with your replies!

  • Ok,it is not a model,it is a Trans Am,and what does a standard or auto got to do with heating rubber?

  • it is auto!

  • auto

  • smokey and the bandit 2 was 80 model turbo s/e i own 1 myself first year of the turbo 301

  • @MegaMontecarloss no smokey and the bandit 2 had a 78 trans am

  • @1978camarolt no sorry it was 1980 watch the movie turbo t/a didn't come out until 1980 and it is a turbo look at the hood its a dead give away look up phoenix graphix and you will see that 1980 and 1981 is only years with turbo hoods and 1981 has a different decal !

  • @MegaMontecarloss it was 80 and smoky&bandit 3 was a 81 but thats if i remember correctly. yes there was 3 movies for any1 who didnt know. i own a 79 and i love it.

  • @marcus11200 i think it was an 82 or 83

  • i dont know what he means buy bandit edition in the second smokey and the bandit he has a 1979 turbo trans am which has a 4.9L 301ci turbo pontiac motor in it mean while this trans am has a 6.6L 403ci oldsmobile motor in it

  • 80 and 81 was the turbo'd 301s only bad thing about it they were the worse v8 ever

  • my 1969 dodge coronet 440 would roast them with no brake. as long as I held it to the floor it would just spin tires,it I let up any it would catch traction and gooooo! I miss that car and kick myself for ever selling it.

  • i was born ready

  • damn everyone uses the brake look at my video without a brake

  • its hard for some people to get their car to break loose if its auto your video looked liek you dumped the clutch or reved it in nuteral (if its auto) and slamed it in drive... but i could be wrong ... nice car all the same!!!

  • neutral drops are the best way to blow out the spider gears,,,, i have one it many times when i was a stupid teenager in my '64 327 Acadian Beaumont Sports Deluxe,,,ill bet you a hundred bucks not to many americans have ever hear of an Acadian? it is not a Pontiac,, it is Acadian.... same body style a Chevelle,,,but there are Canso's that are the same as Chevy 2's google acaidian if no 1 beleives me

  • yes but it is still a toyota and trust me it wont in 30 years time i work at toyota goodcars for 8 years and then u can by a new 4 the cost of rebuilding the engine

  • @transdetendal Actually i was just responding in a joking manner i was checking out alot af trans am videos had the 91 gta in forest green how i so miss that car GOOD OLE' DAYS as well as loving the bandit edition have a 2000 gs300 nice car but if i wanted a fast car woulda bought another sportscar dont think my lexus is beating that, but am considering looking 4 a mint GRAND NAT.with the turbo 6 always loved that car to old to be getting out of trans ams nowadays LOL!

  • is your ford 30 years old?

  • hey is that a 6.6 liter cuz my uncle has a 79 trans am 6.6 liter its freakin awesome

  • cool __

  • thats the wierdest laugh (at the end) im oo aaa really

  • gotta love the chuckle at the end hahahahaha

  • heyyy do you still skate??

  • *melts*

  • motor seems kinda gutless 350?

  • That was badass. You dont have any tires left though :) It was sweet

  • good job you did it right

  • Damn that's sweet!

  • nice ride. i got a 75 trans am putting out 450 horsepower, it reminds me so much of mine hearing those tires...

  • Nice to see someone actually driving it. :-)

  • Awesome show boss. Your's is certainly far nicer than mine! check out "Sitting bull in action"

  • You see ... owning a muscle car and complaining about gas prices is kinda like marrying a fat chick and complaining about the grocery bill!

  • @ryanpushesthebutton Wow. That is one of the funniest phrases I've heard in a while!

  • @ryanpushesthebutton WTF! Apples and Oranges type of comment

  • @ryanpushesthebutton

    hahahah well put

  • .@ryanpushesthebutton hahaha fucking oath mate.

  • @ryanpushesthebutton Amen!......I own a Hemi.....I laugh at gas stations!

  • thats fuckin badass

  • Damn, Nice Burnout, Great car too.

  • Nice burnout! great car i want me a 2nd generation Trans Am

  • I praise you man, its like i always say, cars are built to be driven, they're never alive unless they're on the road serving their purpose, this is why i hate people that collect cars and never drive them and why i would never buy a Lambo or a Ferrari even if i had the money.

If you dont drive a car to its maz potential because you're afraid of hurting it then either you dont desirve the car or else the car never desirved to be built in the first place, haha

  • Comment removed

  • Because you can. :)

  • another way to fuck up your car tires

  • Yup, then you go buy some more.

  • talking about a waste of money LOL

  • Yeah but you cant take it with you so might as well have fun.

  • but you can use it for helping others who really needs it

  • fuk ya i c another one in the lot 2

  • ALL HAIL THE TRANS AM

    bask in her lovely glory

  • When you finally got that car too smoke, that engine sounded and the car took off like a slug.GMC PONTIAC or CHEV could never build anything that could do a burnout better like than a MOPAR.

Don't beleive me, listen oo this one and check out a MOPAR burnout and you'll see what a real car is. Although,I will give respect too the restoration of the car,for a Pontiac....it looks OK and brings back memories to when ever Italian kid had one..LOL.

  • your kidding, thats probably stock and he continued to spin the tires all the way until he let off the gas, and yeah it sounded like a slug he was probably in 3rd gear still burning out at around 2 grand.

  • lol yea im actually a mopar fan--there cars are so ugly there really cool-but smacking on a 79 ta on smoking tires is pretty lame.

i mean, cmon, im been searching for 79 stock dodges doing burnouts--o0--and im having a hard time findin anything-let alone a burnout.

so ty on the ole restoration of the pontiac comment, and hey ty on the love of the american muscle car--but were talkin 79 here not late 60s or early SD special 70's here..

    hmm

SD-hemi-hmm pontiac has a hemi? sort of? wtf

  • Lol that's because GMC Pontiac and Chev all built cars that actually move and get traction when you step on the gas.

  • Thats funny.I have too admit. You probably over flowed the air in the rear tires.Less traction more smoke...LOL.Nice car though.Brings me back too my early 20's

  • Would be nice if people could just appreciate great cars and not slate "japanese" models as a whole. There are plenty of stunning japanese models around, but I guess I'm just someone who appreciates a good car! And yes this Pontiac is the shit. I live in Wales and have never seen one up close until a week ago. A guy had restored it from fire damaged and it was stunning. however, I could never afford to run one so I'll stick with my 1991 (MKII) MR2 thanks.

  • i love the evil laugh at the end >:)

  • Love it!

  • I`m English and i was bought up on American TV/films in the late 70`s/early 80`s etc. Yeh there are some good cars all over the world but you just can`t beat the magical sound of a V8 muscle car. FACT!

  • Your import is a joke! It suits you well.

  • America the beautiful!! I love it!

  • yeah ok slappy... take your jap made nissan and stick it up your ass sideways.... no style havin pile of fuckin shit... i bet ya get more smoke in your nip car burnin out cause half the car is on fire and motor is blown.... fuckin tool.... this trans am is beautiful... real american muscle!!!!!

  • and if you listen he's slowly revving the engine once the wheels start spinning

  • @beers2257 tell him all about firebirds

  • who gives a flying fuck about your shitty nissan?? not me!

  • ok congrats you can drive... so do i. personally i just cant stand jap sport cars bc they sound like shit. honestly you can go to home depot and find a lawn mower that sounds better. i cant even compare it to a trans am. btw i did have a nice day bc the 49ers won (yea i know they look like shit most of the time)!!! hope you have a nice day as well.

  • Please find in any of my comments where i said this Trans Am sucks? You know how i found this video? I wanted to see this car in action after i seen it on Speed Channel (The new BR Edition). I love that car, i love muscle cars. Im not some 16 year old punk kid that drives a Honda with a fart can.

  • because its jap crap. thats why it's shitty.

  • who cares, fuck your nissan piece of shit.

  • oh here it is ignore the comment on the other video...hasty hasty!

thats why i pay people to restore my cars, im not patient enough! lol

  • original 1977 -1979 transams were not equipped with a 455... the base motor was a 400 or 403 cid oldsmobile motor..6.6 litre the last year for the 455 was 1976 when the gas crunch hit and by 1980 the transam had a pittiful 5.0 chevy motor makin 160 hp

  • Actually, it was more pitiful than 160hp, only like 140 or 145 hp. However, the 301 Pontiac Turbo had some potential, but the non-turbo 301 didn't--actually, the 305 Chevy engine has potential, but it would be better to start with a 350--or just find an old Pontiac 400, and swap it in.
