Tip: I usually use the branch HP attacks with cloud. They work good, judging on how I can do 1-hit-ko at start of a battle with them.

@Xenn000 if ur having problems with Chaos, try this. Dont ever use a HP attack, just build up ur Bravery as much as u can until u get to 9999 and then omnislash version 5 him. if u do the regular bravery attack after blocking him ull do quite a bit, plus ull slam him into the wall probrably. also keep jumping up as high as u can, then when he zips towards u its easier to block. Save ur Limit break for whenn he does Divine punishment, cos thats bullshit haha

Why don't I like Zidane? Well it's mainly just the way he fights really. like say I like how each character has a style to their attacks such as WoL or Jecht.

But Zidane seems a bit Asymmetrical to me, if that makes sense.

My all time fav (besides chaos via hacking) would have to be a tie between gabranth and jecht, with WoL being a close 2nd/3rd. And that's because they all just seem geared towards a playstyle (I.E Jecht=combo-er, or Gabranth=rape with EX mode)

I think he is, I admit he is slow, and may be simple to dodge, but I figured a combination of 3 attacks all HP damage attacks, Cloud just needs to succesfully hit one time in Ex mod, and I can then do a combination of 3 HP Attacks and the Ex-Mod Hit.

Thats a Combination of 4 attacks, sure to kill.

But indeed I think his only weakness is the slow attacks, but by me I just need one hit in Ex mod, which is better since he has guard break.

@MercenaryZack well one break with Cloud and an omnislash v5 can wall crash them down to 1hp then the burst finishes them...this is true. in terms of damage output, he's up there with Gabranth, Jecht, and Exdeath. but it's not difficult to avoid him when he goes EX, he's not only slow but predictable and his moveset is pretty limited, especially if the opponent takes to the air.

Seriously, Zidane is the strongest. Agile, fast, versatile, high damage combos, easy to land finishing hits.

For one, Zidane only does high damage if you use his accessories in that fashion. Without equips, he is low damage. Fast and agile for sure, but low damage. Anyone who can block half decent can block a majority of his moves.

His move set is limited and he is highly predictable. Anyone who has played the game for at least 10 hours would be able to dodge nearly every attack.

I argue based on the premise someone is playing the character to their full potential. i.e. not using easily blockable moves at random. also assuming sensible equips/no summons (e.g. KaoS ruleset) for the sake of fair argument. Cloud CAN be competent with fire mindgames and double cut but it's an uphill struggle, whereas Zidane has an easy time poking with SA or S9 and can use his high damage combos to punish.
