Here is what I want Ford take note. I want single cab, long bed (8ft), steel frame (That wont crumble and explode upon impact.), 0 shit plastic, with a very common parts and work on motor 351, 3 or 4 speed manuel, bucket seats,No computer chips (More then 20 wires wont even look at vehicle), airvent, 4x4, that cool highway step, and beefed up shocks. So a work truck all under 20,000 and made 100% made in America. I drive a 66 f-250 with all of that and plan on keeping it till then.

No automaker is going to make anything like that now because 1. its unsafe and the government would never pass it 2. probably wouldn't meet emissions and MPG standards and 3 its insanely expensive to make like that now and would probably be well over your 20k budget.

I think if you really wanted to show off and look cool, you'd buy a truck like this, I know I would. Ford without a doubt has the best looking trucks on the road.

Ford is being dumb and not offering a neutral setting on the 4x4 control for flat towing. that was a big turn off for me. i would never trade my Silverado for any other truck, but i would gladly have both trucks.

here's the way i see it. the Chevy Silverado is more of a workhorse. the interior's hard plastics can get dirty and has big knobs for gloves. it's meant for working, not so much trim and luxury. the F150 is more of a car-like pickup. it's interior is meant to be luxurious and is supposed to make you think you are driving a luxury sedan. it can still do hard work, but the interior has small buttons making using the buttons with gloves difficult, and the softer plastics are harder to wipe clean.

@Hustle095 very true indeed. i went thru a road constructione zone. where the road was graveled up loosley. and a rock hit my oil pan. just crackin it slightly and showed up at work wit no oil in the pan. not nowing it. till lunchtime it made a clackin sound when i tried to start it. checked it out put sum jb weld on da pan filled her up next day. it made da same noise but after 5-6 seconds it got quite n ran. the construction site was 24 miles away
