Those planes are actually AT-6 Texan trainers that were modified to look like japanese planes. They were the same ones used in the making of the movie "Tora Tora Tora!"
Well.. it was either having more than 200,000 (if that is a valid number, and I wont post a number cause I know I wont be accurate, but it wouldve been more) die when the Americans would invade Japan, both sides dieing, or dropping the bomb and having less people killed, brinding a quicker end to the war.
