the original members of evanescence left amy lee and started their own band with carly smithson. amy lee is doing her own thing with evanescence. that's how it is and that's how it will be for now. both are very talented bands, and both amy and carly are incredible singers. this is exactly the right music for carly and her big voice, and ben moody is still an amazing song writer.

i am a fan of BOTH bands and always will be
