Good point, owensaruba! What can we do to increase financial literacy in this country?
I'm teaching people how to pay off their mortgage and save thousands, even hundreds of thousands of dollars. But how to do reach the people who don't even know that's possible, people who do even ask the question?
He would say "read the contracts and understand them before you sign them. Got a bad mortgage? No one forced you to sign anything and the government is not responsible for saving you from yourself. Accept responsibility and don't ask others, via taxes/inflation, to bail you out of your bad decisions."

Accept responsibility and don't ask others, via taxes/inflation, to bail you out of your bad decisions."
