Sonic and the Black Knight - Lancelot Returns 5 Stars + Beating the Sword Clash at the end

When I see how hard people claim this boss is, it makes me think SEGA went on TV Tropes the day before making the game, purposely made Lancelot a Warm-Up Boss in the beginning, and turned him into a surprise Wake-Up Call Boss in this fight.

I beat him finally...the trick is to have 2herbs of toughness aquiped then have padlon style then beat the crapoutta him

is simple. When The fight starts and lancelot flies towards you, Jump as he gets close and use Sonic's spinning attack.. When he gets to you, he's jump as well, and try his Aerial move . He will always miss, and your attack will hit him. when you both land, Get a 3-hit combo on him. He'll fall over, and you can possibly get another quick combo on him. Either way, immediately Block, because he will Chaos Blast upon recovering. Now, Back away until Lancelot flies towards you again. Rinse, repeat.

1. At begining when he charges at you, jump and use a Air Attack. Then slash him till you fall to the ground then shield, cause of Chaos Blast.

2. When he does a stab attack, shield, and keep blocking him till your soul gauge fills up.

3. After he does a stab attack, Shadow should slash at you a few times, than back flip away. Use your Soul attack as soon as he jumps.

4. Block his Chaos Spears, and Backflip away from him cause you wont be able to block his slash attacks.

5. Repeat.

1: at the start, wait a half second ( he should still be charging at you )

2: do a backflip, then an air attack.

( if done right shaodw should attack, miss and you hit him. )

3: now let loose on him, dont hold back, show no mercy. when he gets back up, quickly backflip out. DO NOT SHEILD,

4: backflip a few times and repeat. :) i beat him in 0:48

when he starts using chaos punishment, just use a small soul surge. he's most vulnerable right after chaos blast.

1 & 3 you have to get your knight style skill level at its maximum to make your sheild last longer and soul gauge goes faster (if i remebered correctly)

2: just need practice you have to shake at the right moment when the wiimote appear( same thing as king arthur but harder)
