nice coping ! i have my blade set in this same direction and everyone on the job complains that its backwards ? i don't care i have more control this way
This guy has passed, so I have been reading from past posts. Damn good carpenter. It is funny that ppl would rather post there so called armchair smarts on carpentry then read what has already been written. That would tell me if they cant read, then they are not a good carpenter as they dont listen either!!
well this is ok but if ya work on an old place you need more angle and do it all with the saw you doint need a chop saw just a good pencil line and a good eye
Finally a coping video where the camera angle lets you see what is going on. I just saw 4 of them where a hand or the saw frame obscure the view of the blade on the piece. Nicely done!
Everyone Joe Fusco is dead he died may 18 2010 at age 50. Prayers be with his family. May joe get to be with the carpenter Jesus Christ. We will all miss you and your informational videos.
Why not...throw the trim away and then paint some trim on the wall where the trim is supposed to be.Then you could paint some nice tiles on the floor and finish off with some fabulous painted on light switch's and receptacles!

Imagine having to do this for the whole house! Just make a 45 degree angle on both ends and fill in any gaps with caulk!

@infinera06 Nothing like "good enough" craftsmanship. I bet all your tools say Kobalt on them.

0:59 "1 degree....You're not looking..." Ha-ha, reminds me of the numerous unpleasant times I've tried to help my Dad with projects when I was a kid.

Well done! A true trim carpenter will always cope his inside miters.

How thick of a piece of wood can a coping saw cut? Is there a limit?

beautiful job, from another contractor
etiennekai 1 year ago
why dont you just cut a 45 back cut less cutting to cope
scionsharon 2 years ago
@scionsharon why don't you know what your talking about, the first cut he made on the mitre saw was a 45
kanuckxxx 1 year ago
Wow, that is a lot of work. molding is beautiful though
kathybrooks1963 2 years ago
@kathybrooks1963 a lot of work ? not really, if you allow say 10 minutes per cut you can do 6 internal mitres in an hour.
God rest you Joe, never knew you but you came across as a good guy on your vids, respect.
