I play Eldar in tabletop and Harlequins really do do that to infantry :P but throw them at elite troops and its all over - thats where Banshees come in.

actually the majority of them are men but the girls give that femine touch seeing as eldar are all slender and thin.........which is why the makers giv taldeer such massive mellons

Actually, eldar are suposed to disreguard gender and consider it insignificant, so your just as likely to have male commanders as female comanders (the main Farseer guy is male, so is the Eldar Prince guy).

But I think that in DoW they are female becasue the game wanted more boobies to appeal to teenaged boys...

to answer your question they arent. some leaders are warlocks which are male. the farseer's are just most commonly use for stealth and shit. warlocks more likely for assualting

theyre really good support, on their own theyre garbage but with another squad that can be targeted these things can change a battle drastically

All that animation put into a single unit is pretty impresive for a stratedgy game. You can see how they went on to Company of Heroes infantry squads.

Dance of Death brings them immediately to squads and knocks them around. It's quite the contrary -- One harlequin can take a marine squad in two seconds.

I prefer the models too, but I think the new ones they're bringing out are going to look like that unfortunately. It'd probably take the game designers ages to make all the different harlequins, they all looked pretty different.
