The master uses his arms like a whip so speedily, and pokes by fingers and knocks by his palms. This attack is more powerful than its appearance because he uses his whole body like a whip.
And this is Qi style TongBay Quan, so it is not biu jee of WinChun Quan.
@RedRafiki i didnt say this. i said that it has simularities to ving tsun. most if not all chinese martial arts have the same roots. they are all on the family tree and by relation have simular features. as far as the speed though, i must say that it is not impressive. he should have this level of quickness with his hands at least to be taken serious in the martial world
@opticannon reading your comments shows me that sparring is not something you do very often, am i correct? it does not seem as fast, still fast enough. if you would stand right in front of him and you had to fight him the attack looks a lot different because he shuts off the signals that the body gives away before moving. so to outsiders, these movements are not as fast as to the opponent. this is the highest form of a martial art, the simple no form where there is nothing but pure skill.
@RedRafiki im going to try and keep this pleasant. dont you condescend to me maybe you need to look around and see whats out there before making such a bold and baseless claim. . anyone who understands how to flow relaxed and uses only the muscles to promote speed to allow the mass to generate internal damage can achieve this tech. and yes he does telegraph. whats impressive is the hand replacement hes using so he doesnt get hit . and maybe if the dude kept his wu sau up he woundnt get nailed.
@opticannon i happen to know a lot of martial artists that don't have a sparring partner, i am sorry if i hurt your feelings. from your choice of words i get that you practice wing chun / ving tsun. most wing chun guys are (no offense, my experience) smart asses, because there was a big hype and now they think that WC is a perfect system. this is not wing chun, so absorb what works for you and respect other martial arts. and wu sau ain't no miracle block, just saying.
@RedRafiki from my choice of words? man, listen im not going to let you bait while you put a spin on my words. all so you could argue semantics? what am i suppose to do when you lay these accusations on me, huh? shall i begin to qualify now? no, i fight...i spar with my brothers and others outside my system? ( all said in a mocking tone i might add ). if you cant tell that wu sau is effective in this matter from the above vid then, i am confident in saying that you perceive little, now.

@Ebutuoy2004 it does have its simularities to ving tsun though you must admit. the pak sau, the biu sau, and the type of dynamic.

@opticannon only because it is fast it does not mean it is wing chun.... every martial art needs to be fast.
