Disney Channel shows are immune to any kind of adult criticism. It's overacted because it's for KIDS. It's not about subtlety. It's VERY funny if you're say 12 - 15 years old. You sound like you're taking this show more seriously than its intended audience does. That audience, incidentally, worships it and Hannah Montana etc otherwise they wouldn't be in production or turning over hundreds of millions of dollars in merchandise and overseas revenues...

i like both shows. Arwin was kinda old and creepy for the show, and estaban didn't leave much of an impression; He had an accent and liked chickens. The new wierd guy seems like he'll be a good substitute for them. Carey is gonna guest episode, so we'll still see her. But yeah, Maddie was a big loss; however, all these people pretty much chose to leave the show, so don't judge to harshly.

Finally a new episode of The Twins. But seriously, this series can't beat the old series. Yes, they grown up but, I don't feel any passion about this show. Also, no Maddie and Carey. The Hotel and the song is much better and cooler Idea than living on a Ship. This is the only episode I love. Reminder: This is the last time these actors will be together.
