I'm 185 pounds, not skinny, not fat, 14 soon to be 15 years old, and stand 5'7". I have an HFC M9, a Combat Machine, 9 mid cap magazines, and a Midland GXT745 Multi Channel Radio. Will this vest work fine for me? The radio is about 4 inches wide and 8 inches tall, bottom to tip of antenna

@Wontonwabledoo didn’t know if you were replying to AUG vest or his. On any vest, don’t forget to also measure your waist and chest. Also add how much this size increases wearing it with your armor, heavy or cold weather clothing. Some vests, because of way they are made, can not be expanded indefinitely: such as those with flat sewn straps on sides. Those with paracord on sides can be made to fit larger people.

i have it but the one i have has a few differences, the utility pouch on the left and mag pouches on the left are removable and you can replace the mag pouch for an included holster and the utility pouch on the left is actually a 3 pistol mag pouch :P

@lobothecrazy1 my friend has the cross draw version and he can fit his p90 mags and his friends AK mags YET this is not the cross draw version and many reviews say that the pouches cant hold anything larger than an m4 so i would recommend getting the cross draw version, for the cross draw is on sale on their website for $45, the same price as this one.

tim you forgot to mention there are 2 pockets inside the vest also.

this vest is good for outdoors, i wear bdu and its thick so it gets hot. the mess makes things easier not only for your gear but also keeps you from passing out from your body over heating

seeing as how a paintball inflicts more kinetic energy into you than an airsoft BB, that means you lose. Airsoft guns shoot about 350 fps but the BB weighs about .25 grams. Whereas a paintball can legally go up to 300 fps (in the state of CA) but the projectile weighs more than 200 times than a BB. Which means it hurts much more. I do play both Paintball and airsoft, and I still rather get hit with a airsoft BB than a Paintball at 300 fps.

@CtrlFUable First of all, airsoftguns can go up to 600fps. And yes i know that the paintball weighs and makes more of a mark when hit. But the smaller things, don't hurt for so long when as of a paintball. But an airsoft bb at 450+ fps hurt like hell when hit. So my point is, is that it depends on the fps when hit. Because hell, if the paintball was moving at a speed of 250fps, then yes, it would hurt. But not as much as an airsoft bb moving at a speed of 310 fps +

@brads3111 No, sorry they can't, but the pockets themselves aren't as thick as you think. But the pockets do have removeable closure flaps, if you think you need to remove them.

i have had this vest for a while 2 things 1 the belt is too close to the vest to hold a holster very wll, but if u rn using one of the mag pouches they hold (at least my M9) any pistol really wel. and the "shotgun shell strap" actually works really well for 12 gram c02 and is usefull as just a pistol pouch (holds mags speedloader and c02). but yea a good vest and a grat deal for $45

I have this in black, I really love it. It's basically a Blackhawk Omega knockoff. I'm a really big guy too, (6' 1", 280 lbs) and it fits me extremely well so it should fit anyone. The radio pouch is far too small for any radios I've seen however. If it were larger, this vest would be perfectly. Note the belt was far too short for me however, but a UTG velcro belt works with it well.
