I thought the same thing. I was expecting something big and flashy. But hey, it still works. This one would punch a hole through the enemy while Blade's would vaporize it outright.

same here when i saw him postioning his arms I thought he was ready to fire a big Voltekka, but sadly It was just the enemy shooting the beam in side the crest placement area. (Spoiled by the remake don't blame me :( :()

Yeah, this Voltekka compared to Blade's is kinda like Piccolo's Makankosapo compared to Goku's Kamehameha. Both are effective, just in slightly different ways.
