@GRUNTS2009 depends on the resolution but for 300 dollar you can buy a 6950 or wait for a gtx560 and will probably play triple monitors. if your on the common 1920x1080 gtx460 or radeon 6850 will run it perfectly. also starcraft is more cpu intensive than gpu intensive, so its good to overclock your cpu if the listed cards don't run well for you.

since he is such a scouter, a good way to bust him is to let him have false intel: This is how you do it: when he scouts the 2nd hatchery, after you chase him off, cancel hatch. Use all the saved up larva and the extra money to make a ton of roaches. Protoss has false sense of security because he saw you expand. When you cancel and go all out roaches, you will overwhelm him. That way, his scout will serve a purpose for you because you use it to feed false intel to him; Vote if u AGREE

So I've always wondered about Protoss scouting. Why is it when people try to suicide a scout they always use a probe? Why not a zealot? Zealots are a lot tougher and can get further into a base. If you think about it, by suiciding a probe you're throwing away 50 minerals, to replace it you're spending another 50 minerals which is already the cost of a zealot, including lost mining time from the probe scout which changes based on travel time.

@DoCKathos Zealots actually cost 2 food as well. And by the time you get a gateway up scouting intel will have missed things like, a rush, early tech, or fast expanding. If you wait to scout with a zealot you will be in the dark those first few minutes, so usually you scout with a probe early on ( say, 12 supply) . And a probe is relatively fast, and recharges shields pretty quick.

@litlb227 No no I mean a bit later, the second scout (dedicated suicide scout). First scout is always the probe I know that, typically at 9 or 10 with first pylon, sometimes a tad bit later. I mean later in the game, after a gate is already up ppl still just send in a probe and it often dies before it can even get up a ramp to see anything. Against a terran who typically walls in with a tech build with everything at the door or sometimes a protoss, that could give you a lot of info.

what im saying is there in positions 3 and 6(if you will) now in positions 12 and 3 or even 12 and 6 would you still do the same push because at 11:34 (Game Time) mc loses his pylon and no probe to remake it, so it would take more time for mc to reinforce his units which would give ret more time to reproduce his units or even make use of his spire(Right) does the postions your in dictate your push with timing, unit composition or tec tree? if that makes any sence to you XFISTSOFRAIN! :D
