People always talk about Welker being the best slot receiver, but they forget that Stokley was the Original slot. There is no such thing as a "Welker" type receiver. Welker is a carbon copy of Stokley; a Stokley type receiver.

Well they're kind of two different types of receivers.

Welker is insanely quick and has great agility.

Stokely on the other hand, is a great route runner and is extremely clutch when it comes to third and fourth down.

So Stokely is the original slot receiver. And he is definitely better. :)
