........meaning the gullible are in fact a dysfunctional black electorate.
JAY-Z vs TOPNOTCH!!!who made a better song off this beat?listen now on YOUTUBE!!!to hear JAY-Z SONG type in(jay-z never change)to hear TOPNOTCH SONG type in(topnotch do you)and press search
Burnin' purple flower's listening to Jay-z. Fuck Auto-tune rap! Real Hip Hop right here.. 14 dislike needs to smoke weed and listen to this shit again.
rule of thumb- when considering a certain artist's classic album, one must listen to not one song... but the entire album from start to finish the way the artist intended it to be heard. Makes the experience much better and you never know what you might find... Good ass endo helps as well.
Damn! I can't believe people jus' gettin' hip to this album! I knew 'dis cat was gone b good even then. People can't b mad cuz he dum down for ignant azz people to understand. He gettin his money, and you STILL can't name a rapper better now. And this was 1996!
@tyetye44 ... Songs like "Who you wit" just had a good vibe too it. He made a lot of music were niggaz could just vibe too and ride out too that had a very inspired message to it. Now it's like he making music that's depressing, with dark messages that he says it's purposely placed to play wit peoples mind but dat's b.s. Don't nobody wanna hear dat shit. All his videos got masonic pics/messages in it when he never did that b4. It's just very extra. People can make excuses the proof is evident.
@tyetye44 ... streets is watching, imaginary player.Dis nigga said he was gon "Never Change" and he did. We all know he sold out with how he dismantled Roc-A-Fella. I know it wasn't all his fault, other niggaz was b.s.'n too, but Jay did the most damage. Even when you read the XXL article when he talks about the beef between him and Dame, you can tell in his words he knew that shit was fucked up, no matter what his excuse or his point of view was. He got real money hungry and did sum flaw shit.
@twin0430274 Yea he sold out alright...stadiums all over the fucking world. Seriously y'all dudes kill me with that "sold out" bullshit. It's called growing up, expanding. In the words of Jay: "people say Hov take it back, but I'm doing better than before why would I do that?" I mean c'mon dude is worth $400 million now, he's not that same street hustler anymore. Don't get me wrong I love Reasonable Doubt and all that early shit, but he would be fake as shit rapping about that same shit now.
@tyetye44 we can all choose what we wanna believe. I know for a fact that it was a lot die hard Jay-Z fans that rode hard wit him in the 90's and early 2000's, that stopped fuckin wit 'em because he changed. And I'm not talkin about him changing because he got older, because that's understandable, I'm talkin bout how his style changed, his message in his music changed, his whole persona. His songs now, don't even compare to songs like Can't knock the hustle, Feelin it, politics as usual ..
@tyetye44 nobody knows is jay sum kind a of devil worshiper, but the fact is, him and kanye put out videos like on to the next one, sum twsited shit, its almost like he wants to get questioned about it. jay is my favorite rapper, well, in reasonable doubt i mean, where like twins is saying, hes was talking sum real shit. then only god and the devil knows what happend to him cuz he done fell way down the rabbit hole.
@tyetye44 (cont.) in saying that if we all can get out and raise our voices to bring about change then that's the only way "real" change that can affect everybody and not just a few, will happen. He's not beating down the message in saying politics are the reason why situations in parts of Africa or parts of America are the way they are but he is beating down the message that "Jesus can't save you" or "Lucifer is the sun of the morning". He can't ruffle too many feathers or he'll end up like Pac
@tyetye44 ... He's taking up these projects to help him feel involved but he's not doing anything to help raise the awareness of the people to bring about a "real" change as a whole. 2pac stayed beating down the message of getting involved in politics and telling the people to use their voices to bring about change. Jay-Z is not doing that. Sure he can help some communities like he did in Africa, but he's not relaying that message to the people who listen to him..... (cont.)
@tyetye44 I see you got ur side of opinion and I got my side of opinion so we just gon have to agree to disagree. I've seen the "Water for Africa" documentary and again that's another point that I'm trying to make. Yea it's good that he contributed some of his money and a water pump to communities to help the cause, but really what is that changing at the end of the day. The situation, the poverty, the fact that these people were living in inhospitable environments are still the same...
m only 18 and its hard to put out real hip hop now a days if you have anytime check out my page, and if you like it, it will be helpful to support and if you dont like it thanks for listenin.
It's been a long time comin and now im just tryna get buzz up so i can have a chance in this game, i dont record in a real studio but i try to make it sound as official as possible
@tyetye44 His influence/voice/power comes through his music which reaches millions more people than what his every now and then appearances in a community could ever do. Instead of him rapping about relevant issues that people can relate to through out the country that can draw awareness to these issues like he did in the 90's, he rapping about bullshit like devil worshipping and living forever. He too scared to rap about real shit because he don't wanna upset the people that's making him rich.
@tyetye44 you're still stuck on dis local shit.. Yea it's good that he's giving book bags to kids so they can go to school with supplies and shit but what the fuck is that changing?? When these kids go home they still gotta deal with issues like their parents maybe not being able to provide food or electricity because they don't have a job because they were laid off or some shit. They still have to deal with day-to-day issues that Jay-Z don't see and don't have to deal with.
@tyetye44 For instance, why do we need to build more homeless shelters??? Oh, because the policies that are in place that continues to keep poor people down, destroy the middle class, and reduces opportunities for people to live a comfortable life. He doesn't speak on those issues because he is benefitting from those issues. So know the shit you talkin bout before you start talking.. That's like saying Oprah speaks for black people because she hands out fuckin scholarships...GTFOH
@tyetye44 That n.igga Jay Z ain't doin s.hit but given money out that he can claim as a tax break to get all his money back plus more from uncle sam... If he was really interested in doing something he should be using his "voice/power" and speak the f.uck up about what needs to change in the community.. Given money to put up shelters ain't gon do s.hit to change the issue or the problem.
Have you seen the list of banks Obama gave money to?
Citigroup $2.5 trillion
Morgan Stanley $2.04 trillion
Merrill Lynch $1.95 trillion
Bank of America $1.34 trillion
See page 131 of the GAO report.
Obama wants the rich to be rich and the poor to be poor (so he can keep them dependent on universal healthcare). Obama is completely destroying the middle class who do not want big government. Time to end the corporate welfare and time to throw Obama out!
This was the time period in which I respected Jay. Back when it was "Roc-A-FellA 4eva" as Jay would put it. SMH... What Happened??? I guess greed and money can make real n.iggaz turn and do hoe shit. Reasonable Doubt is still a classic but 2pac was right about Jay-Z. 2pac is the realest to ever do it plain and simple. Stayed real to the end. Would give his home to the homeless. What Jay doin??? SMH...
@twin0430274 man GTFO.. anyone who has ever hustled in their fuckin LIFE, has the UPMOST respect for jay-z... its fortunate for you, that you are a youtube hardass because you would get hit with the fuckin heat in my nieghborhood for EVER fuckin disrespecting jay z.... he inspires ppl who come from nothin to maybe be a fuckin true boss like he is... you are a fuckin idiot.. p.s. jigga would fuckin murk 2pac.. you only like 2pac cuz everyone else does... compare lyrics fucka, jigga will end pac
@Veliyungkrazy it's a Drake quote lol. "I didn't cry when Pac died, but I probably will when Hov does, and if my tears hold value then I will drop one for every single thing he showed us." from the song 'Fear'
@MrJoshreve im sorry to hear that and I sincerely hope you're white cuz pac spent his last days screaming, eloquently outraged, to use cornel west's words, to draw attention to black people and the disgusting state of affairs in our neighborhoods. hov spoke (and continues to speak) about himself, why he's the best, and his own ambition.
@jamminjelli it absolutely is... nas is over-rated.. IMO so no attacks, I have the right to my opinion and it is that nas is not the shit like everyone makes him out to be... reasonable doubt was one of the best albums of all time prolly, ANY genre.
@lucakris7 wow...i thought i`d never hear that...i never like nas....but i respect him cause he is a legend for puttin out 7 straight plat albums....but lyrically to me illmatic is the only album that i could relate to....of his!
@ehoward9438 I feel the same way! im adding you lol. we are prolly the only two ppl who don't like nas. I just never fuckin liked him. i'm not knocking nas fans, but as they have the right to like nas, I have the right to say I think he is full of shit and not that great of rapper either. period

Since the 60's Tea Party members nor the Republican Party have held or hold political office in a South Central Los Angeles, Detroit, Baltimore, New Orleans, Compton CA, Inglewood Ca, etc., etc., these being communities comprised of a predominate Black electorate and Democrats......

rule of thumb- when considering a certain artist's classic album, one must listen to not one song... but the entire album from start to finish the way the artist intended it to be heard. Makes the experience much better and you never know what you might find... Good ass endo helps as well.

People can make excuses the proof is evident.
twin0430274 5 months ago
@tyetye44 ... streets is watching, imaginary player.Dis nigga said he was gon "Never Change" and he did. We all know he sold out with how he dismantled Roc-A-Fella. I know it wasn't all his fault, other niggaz was b.s.'n too, but Jay did the most damage. Even when you read the XXL article when he talks about the beef between him and Dame, you can tell in his words he knew that shit was fucked up, no matter what his excuse or his point of view was. He got real money hungry and did sum flaw shit.
twin0430274 5 months ago
@twin0430274 Yea he sold out alright...stadiums all over the fucking world. Seriously y'all dudes kill me with that "sold out" bullshit. It's called growing up, expanding. In the words of Jay: "people say Hov take it back, but I'm doing better than before why would I do that?" I mean c'mon dude is worth $400 million now, he's not that same street hustler anymore. Don't get me wrong I love Reasonable Doubt and all that early shit, but he would be fake as shit rapping about that same shit now.
Antrizzle2009 5 months ago
@tyetye44 we can all choose what we wanna believe. I know for a fact that it was a lot die hard Jay-Z fans that rode hard wit him in the 90's and early 2000's, that stopped fuckin wit 'em because he changed. And I'm not talkin about him changing because he got older, because that's understandable, I'm talkin bout how his style changed, his message in his music changed, his whole persona. His songs now, don't even compare to songs like Can't knock the hustle, Feelin it, politics as usual ..
twin0430274 5 months ago
@tyetye44 nobody knows is jay sum kind a of devil worshiper, but the fact is, him and kanye put out videos like on to the next one, sum twsited shit, its almost like he wants to get questioned about it. jay is my favorite rapper, well, in reasonable doubt i mean, where like twins is saying, hes was talking sum real shit. then only god and the devil knows what happend to him cuz he done fell way down the rabbit hole.
ThaSubzstance 5 months ago
@tyetye44 (cont.) in saying that if we all can get out and raise our voices to bring about change then that's the only way "real" change that can affect everybody and not just a few, will happen. He's not beating down the message in saying politics are the reason why situations in parts of Africa or parts of America are the way they are but he is beating down the message that "Jesus can't save you" or "Lucifer is the sun of the morning". He can't ruffle too many feathers or he'll end up like Pac
twin0430274 5 months ago
@tyetye44 ... (cont.)
twin0430274 5 months ago
@tyetye44 I see you got ur side of opinion and I got my side of opinion so we just gon have to agree to disagree. I've seen the "Water for Africa" documentary and again that's another point that I'm trying to make. Yea it's good that he contributed some of his money and a water pump to communities to help the cause, but really what is that changing at the end of the day. The situation, the poverty, the fact that these people were living in inhospitable environments are still the same...

CAM8689 5 months ago
@tyetye44 His influence/voice/power comes through his music which reaches millions more people than what his every now and then appearances in a community could ever do. Instead of him rapping about relevant issues that people can relate to through out the country that can draw awareness to these issues like he did in the 90's, he rapping about bullshit like devil worshipping and living forever. He too scared to rap about real shit because he don't wanna upset the people that's making him rich.
twin0430274 5 months ago

That's like saying Oprah speaks for black people because she hands out fuckin scholarships...GTFOH
twin0430274 5 months ago

SMH...
