@bushcutta Thanks for your comment. The last shot is taken near to Stokesay Castle which near Craven Arms in Shropshire. If you walk on the road with the castle on your left you come to farm gate on your right with a rough track running across the field which leads to a gated railway crossing, where the video was shot. Regards, John
@molzips thanks for that, i live not far away in shrewsbury, so somewhere for me to go and have a look at!!! i got the inward working to shrewsbury from the top of the hill, very nice shot it is too!!
@stephengthompson Steve, Thanks for compliments and yes the last shot was a bit of a rush to get there but the result was very rewarding. Regards, John
Yes, great vid. For me your first shot was the highlight! The location was so quintessentially British, in best sort of way with the white smoke from the engine against the backdrop of those beautiful oak (?) woods.Their dense dark canopy stretching all the way back up to the sky line and, in the forground, the fields looking so incredibly lush and green. The engine roars onward, the train speeds away on the curve inside of the hill and disappears behind a clump of trees in the foreground.
very nice indeed, where was the last clip taken???
